BC dropped a 35-28 home decision to West Virginia last week as -4 point favorites. Paul Peterson was inconsistent at quarterback for Boston College as he completed 22-of-41 pass attempts for 231 yards and three touchdowns, but was also intercepted three times in the contest. Quinton Porter completed 8-of-14 passes for 86 yards and was intercepted once. BC lost despite holding edges in total "O" (478-308) and first downs (27-13). Rutgers is off a 38-31 loss at Connecticut last week as +7 point underdogs. Rutgers lost despite a big day from Brian Leonard, who had 184 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries. Ryan Hart connected on 18-of-32 passes for 211 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, as the Scarlet Knights dropped their fourth game in five outings. Rutgers lost despite having edges in total "O" (436-330) and first downs (26-16), but had five turnovers in the game. Offensively, BC ranks 43rd in the nation, averaging 397 ypg, while Rutgers ranks 59th, averaging 383 ypg. On defense, BC comes in ranked 52nd, allowing 352 ypg, while Rutgers ranks 81st, allowing 398 ypg. BC is 9-2 ATS the last 11 with Rutgers and won last years meeting 44-14 as -28 point home chalks. The favorite in this series also comes in 10-2 ATS the last 12 meetings, but Rutgers is on an 8-0-1 ATS run this season and 6-0 ATS in their last six home games. at IOWA (7-3 SU/7-3 ATS)
The Gophers are off a 37-34 home win over Wisconsin as -7½ point favorites. QB Asad Abdul-Kaliq finished 6-of-11 for 106 yards, while Laurence Maroney had 15 carries for 141 yards and a touchdown. Marion Barber finished with 124 yards rushing and one touchdown for Minnesota. Abdul-Khaliq left the game just before halftime with an injured left shoulder. He did not return. Minny outgained Wisky in total "O" 491-420, including 330-120 on the ground. The Hawkeyes are off a 27-14 loss at Purdue last week as +3 point underdogs. Iowa quarterback Nathan Chandler was 16-of-29 for 203 yards with one touchdown and one interception. He also ran for a score. Maurice Brown had eight receptions for 126 yards for the Hawkeyes, who were outgained in total "O" (327-287). Offensively, the Gophers rank 4th in the nation, averaging 495 ypg, while Iowa ranks 91st, averaging 332 ypg. On defense, an edge goes to Iowa as they rank 11th in the nation, allowing just 283 ypg, while Minnesota ranks 29th, allowing 329 ypg. Moreover, the Hawkeyes rank 5th in the nation in rushing "D", allowing just 80 ypg and they should be able to shut down that Minny rushing "O" that averages 303 ypg (rank 1st in land). Minnesota is just 1-9 ATS the last ten meetings with Iowa and 2-9 ATS in road finales. Iowa counters with a 10-1 ATS mark in their last home game of the season. There is no line on this game as of Tuesday due to the status of Minnesota QB Asad Abdul-Kaliq (shoulder), but the line should come out around Iowa -7. Whatever the line is, lay it.

TEXAS A&M (4-6 SU/1-9 ATS)
at MISSOURI (6-3 SU/5-3 ATS)
Texas A&M was drilled last week at Oklahoma in a 77-0 loss as +30 point underdogs. QB Reggie McNeal completed just 4-of-13 passes for 32 yards for the over-matched Aggies Derek Farmer led Texas A&M with seven rushes for 21 yards and only one Aggies receiver had more than one catch. Tim Van Zant led the squad with two catches for 20 yards. It was a very bad effort for the Aggies as they were outgained in total "O" 630-54 and first downs (35-2). The 77 points were the most points ever given up in a game by a Texas A&M team. Mizzou was upset last week in a 21-16 loss at Colorado as -5½ point road favs. QB Brad Smith had an up-and-down day for the Tigers, completing 29- of-42 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns. He ran for 102 yards on 21 carries, but also threw two costly interceptions and lost a crucial fumble. Mizzou outgained Colorado in total "O" (419-258) and first downs (25-17), but fumble twice in the game. Offensively, A&M comes in ranked 57th, averaging 385 ypg, while Mizzou ranks 37th, averaging 404 ypg. Defensively, A&M ranks 94th in the nation, allowing 423 ypg, while the Tigers rank 54th, allowing 357 ypg. Texas A&M is 11-3 ATS in the second game of back-to-back road affairs and 16-6 ATS prior to playing Texas. Mizzou counters with a 6-2 ATS mark in their last home game of the season. The favorite is now 8-0 ATS in A&M's last 8 games and the Aggies have allowed 58, 48 and 77 points in their last three road affairs. Mizzou is also 12-2 ATS the week after facing Colorado and 16-8 ATS in their last three games of the year. Take note that Texas A&M comes in 1-11 ATS as a road underdog. Missouri needs a couple of more solid wins this season to get a nice bowl bid and will get on this week.

at UCLA (6-4 SU/4-5-1 ATS)
Oregon comes off a 21-17 home win over Cal as +1½ point underdogs. QB Jason Fife started the game and completed 8-of-16 passes for 107 yards and a touchdown and also added a team-high 35 rushing yards on five carries. QB Kellen Clemens also saw action as he completed 9-of-18 passes for 117 yards and a score. Samie Parker pulled down a team-high six balls for 63 yards and a touchdown, while Tim Day added four receptions for 69 yards and a score. UCLA is off a 31-13 loss at Wash State last week as +10½ point underdogs. QB Matt Moore completed just 11-of-29 passes for 138 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for the Bruins, who turned the ball over seven times. Tyler Ebell ran for 105 yards on just 12 carries for UCLA, while Maurice Drew added 80 yards on 23 attempts. Drew, though, had two of the Bruins' four lost fumbles. UCLA turned the ball over 7 times, as did Wash State, but had edges in total "O" (365-323) and first downs (18-14). The Bruins have lost two straight after opening the Pac-10 slate with four straight wins. Offensively, Oregon comes in ranked 42nd, averaging 397 ypg, while UCLA ranks 108th, averaging 304 ypg. On defense, the Ducks rank 58th, allowing 370 ypg, while UCLA ranks a very respectable 20th in the land, allowing 315 ypg. Oregon is 3-8 ATS in their last road game of the season, as well as 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall, but the visitor in this series is 8-3 ATS the last 11. UCLA counters with a 15-8 ATS mark in their last home game of the season. In addition, take note of Oregon's last two conference road games as they lost at Arizona State 59-14 as -1 point favorites and 42-10 at Washington as +1½ point underdogs. UCLA also remembers last years 31-30 home loss to the Ducks, as they missed a FG late in the game. The same thing happened in 2001 in a 21-20 UCLA loss to the Ducks as well. at ARIZONA (2-8 SU/5-5 ATS)
2nd-ranked USC is off a bye week after an impressive 43-16 dismantling of previously 6th-ranked Washington State as -12 point home favorites. QB Matt Leinart completed 17-of-31 passing for 191 yards and three touchdowns and LenDale White rushed for 149 yards and a score, as Southern California who won their fifth in a row overall and their 12th straight at home. It was another balanced effort for the Trojans as they held a 436-320 edge in total "O", gaining 222 yards on the ground and 214 through the air. The defense did a great job as well, as they held Wash State to minus 25 rushing yards. Arizona finally got a win last week in a 27-22 victory over Washington as +15 point home underdogs. Kris Heavner completed 10-of-20 pass attempts for 151 yards, a touchdown, and an interception and Michael Bell ran for 222 yards and three touchdowns in Wildcats, who snapped an eight-game losing streak. Arizona held a 405-397 edge in total, but had only 11 first downs. Offensively, the Trojans rank 17th in the nation, averaging 443 ypg, while Arizona ranks 110th, averaging 304 ypg. On defense, it's about the same as USC ranks 33rd. allowing 335 ypg, while Arizona ranks a 103rd. allowing 444 ypg. Take note of the fact that Arizona scored on TD runs of 67, 69 and 37 yards in last week's win over Washington, but that won't happen this week as the Trojans come in with the 3rd rated rushing "D" in the land, allowing just 58 ypg. USC is 6-2 ATS in their last road game of the season and the favorite in this series is 8-2 ATS the last ten meetings. Arizona comes in 3-14 ATS as a conference host and 3-12 ATS in their last 15 November home games. This one is "nolo contende" (no contest). Lay the points.

at PENN STATE (2-8 SU/2-8 ATS)
Indiana got a rare win last week in a 17-14 home victory over Illinois as +1 point underdogs. QB Matt LoVecchio finished 17-of-24 through the air for 161 yards and scored on an eight-yard run with 24 seconds remaining, as the Hoosiers snapped a six-game losing streak and got their first conference win on the year. BenJarvus Green-Ellis had 98 yards rushing and a touchdown on 25 carries and Courtney Roby caught eight passes for 81 yards. Indiana was outgained in total "O" 358-355, but held a 25-17 edge in first downs. Penn State continued to struggle last week in a 17-7 loss at Northwestern as -5½ point road chalks. QB Zack Mills completed 22-of-36 pass attempts for 230 yards and scored a touchdown on the ground for Penn State. The setback was the Nittany Lions sixth in a row, extending their longest-ever losing streak under head coach Joe Paterno. Penn State was outgained in total "O" (445-322) and first downs (23-19). Indiana is 0-6 SU and 1-5 ATS the last six meetings with Penn State as well as 1-7 ATS in road finales. Penn State comes in 11-1 SU and 10-2 ATS in their last home game of the year.

at WEST VIRGINIA (5-4 SU/4-5 ATS)
Pitt comes off a huge win last week as they beat 5th-ranked Va Tech 31-28 as +4½ point home underdogs. QB Rod Rutherford completed 24-of-31 passes for 303 yards with a pair of touchdowns for the Panthers and Heisman candidate Larry Fitzgerald finished with eight catches for 108 yards and a score. Pittsburgh (7-2, 4-0 Big East) now has the inside track on the Big East title with games at West Virginia and Temple over the next two weeks. Two more wins would set up a likely conference championship showdown with Miami at Heinz Field on November 29. West Virginia got the job done last week in a 35-28 win at BC as +4 point underdogs. QB Charles Hales completed 11-of-16 passes for 167 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Mountaineers to their fourth consecutive victory. Chris Henry was Hales' favorite target with 132 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions. WV managed the win despite deficits in total "O" (478-308) and first downs (27-13). Pitt is only 3-6 ATS the last nine with WV, but the visitor in this series is 12-3 ATS the last 15. WV counters with a 13-6 ATS mark in their last 19 November home games.
PURDUE (8-2 SU/8-2 ATS)
at OHIO STATE (9-1 SU/4-5-1 ATS)
Purdue looked good last week in a 27-14 home win over 10th-ranked Iowa as -3 point chalks. QB Kyle Orton completed 13-of-20 passes for 167 yards and a touchdown and RB Jerod Void rushed for 120 yards, as Purdue has won two in a row and eight of its last nine contests. The Boilers held a slight edge in total "O" (327-287) in the win. Ohio State is off a 33-23 home win over Michigan State as -6½ point favorites. QB Craig Krenzel passed for 213 yards and three touchdowns to lead Ohio State to the win. Krenzel, who left in the second quarter of last Saturday's win over Penn State with a mild concussion, completed 12-of-23 passes and threw one interception. Ohio State held slight edges in total "O" (395-378) and first downs (23-20). Purdue is 1-9 SU and 3-6-1 ATS the last 10 with the Buckeyes, getting outscored 323-125. However, Ohio State is just 2-5 ATS in their last seven home finales.

at AKRON (6-5 SU/5-4 ATS)
Ohio is off a 37-33 home loss to Kent State as -2½ point favorites. QB Ryan Hawk converted 10-of-20 pass attempts for 168 yards in the loss for Ohio, its third consecutive setback. Brad Young led the Bobcats on the ground with 73 yards on nine carries and Ray Huston chipped in with 65 yards on 10 rushing attempts. Ohio had a slight deficit in total "O" (451-442) but held a 34:40 to 25:20 edge in time of possession. Akron is off a 40-28 road win at C Mich last week as -7½ point favorites. QB Charlie Frye completed 27-of-34 passes for 416 yards and two touchdowns to help snap the Zips' two-game losing streak. Bobby Hendry also rushed for 132 yards and three touchdowns on 33 carries to Akron to victory. Nick Sparks and Matt Cherry each caught eight passes and a touchdown from Frye, finishing with 137 and 115 receiving yards. It was a good effort by the Zips, who held edges in total "O" (607-369), first downs (29-21) and time of possession (35:20 to 24:40). Ohio is 1-3 SU and ATS the last four meetings with Akron and just 3-8 ATS on the road in November. Akron is 7-4 ATS in home finales as well and the home team in this series is 8-2 ATS the last 10.

The 8th ranked Wolverines had a bye last week after an impressive 27-20 win and cover (-4) at 10th-ranked Michigan State two weeks ago. QB John Navarre completed 17-of-31 passes for 223 yards and three touchdowns and RB Chris Perry rushed for 219 yards and a score on a school-record 51 carries in the win for Michigan. It was a good effort by the Wolves, who held edges in total "O" (439-290), first downs (29-13) and time of possession (39:38 to 20:22). NW pulled the upset last week in a 17-7 home win over Penn State as +5½ point underdogs. QB Brett Basanez finished 13-of-21 for 188 yards and a touchdown and an interception, as Northwestern won for the third time in its last four outings. It was a good effort by the Wildcats as they held edges in total "O" (445-322) and first downs (23-19). Michigan is 12-3 SU but only 5-10 ATS the last 15 meetings with NW and come in 3-6 ATS in their last road game of the season. The Wildcats come in 6-1 ATS the last 7 with Michigan.
MICHIGAN STATE (7-3 SU/5-5 ATS)

Michigan State is off a 33-23 loss at Ohio State as +6½ point underdogs. QB Jeff Smoker was 35-of-55 for 351 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions for the Spartans, who have lost two straight games following a five-game winning streak. It was close stat-wise, with Michigan State having slight deficits in total "O" (395-378) and first downs (23-20). The Badgers lost a close one last week in a 37-34 setback at Minnesota as +7½ point underdogs. Wisconsin, which has lost three in a row, was led by quarterback Jim Sorgi, who finished 23-of-34 for 314 yards and four touchdowns, with an interception. Wisky was outgained in total "O" 491-420, including 330-120 on the ground. Michigan State is 1-3 SU and ATS the last four trips to Madison and is only 3-10 ATS in their last road game of the season. at CLEMSON (6-4 SU/5-4 ATS)
Duke pulled a shocker last week in a 41-17 home win over Georgia Tech as +13½ point underdogs. QB Mike Schneider completed 3-of-9 passes for 79 yards with an interception and Chris Dapolito converted 5-of-6 pass attempts for 62 yards with a touchdown, while RB Chris Douglas ran for 218 yards and two touchdowns on 30 carries in the win for the Blue Devils. Stat-wise it was close, with GT holding a 383-382 edge, but Duke intercepted three passes and recovered a fumble. Clemson pulled off the upset last week in a 26-10 home win over 3rd-ranked Florida State as +17 point underdogs. QB Charlie Whitehurst threw for 272 yards and a touchdown and also ran for a touchdown as the Tigers won for the first time ever over Florida State in Death Valley. The game also marked the fifth all-time meeting between the Bowden’s, father and son. Leading Clemson, Tommy won for the first time against his dad Bobby, the all-time winningest coach in Division I-A history with 340 victories. Duke is 10-4 ATS the last 14 meetings with Clemson, but only 4-7 ATS in the firs of back-to-back road games.
FLORIDA (7-3 SU/6-3 ATS)
at SOUTH CAROLINA (5-5 SU/4-6 ATS)
Florida is off a tougher than expected 35-17 home win over Vandy as -23½ point favorites. QB Chris Leak completed 14-of-24 passes for 166 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions and RB Ran Carthon ran for 91 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries to lead 17th-ranked Gators, who have won four straight games. For the game, Florida held edges in total "O" (405-306) and first downs (22-20). South Carolina dropped a 28-6 decision at Arkansas last Thursday Night as +7½ point underdogs. QB Dondrial Pinkins completed 21-of-36 passes for 181 yards with two interceptions for the Gamecocks, who have dropped three of their last four games. Demetris Summers carried the ball eight times for 37 yards for South Carolina before he suffered a neck injury and had to be carted off the field. SC was outgained in total "O" 396-304 and turned the ball over four times (2 fumbles, 2 interceptions). Florida is 9-0 SU and 6-3 ATS the last nine meetings with SC, but 1-4 ATS their last 5 road finales.
MISS STATE (2-7 SU/2-7 ATS)
at TENNESSEE (7-2 SU/3-6 ATS)
Miss State continued to reel last week in a 38-0 home loss to Alabama as +12 point underdogs. Mississippi State was led by QB Kevin Fant, who completed 14-of-29 passes for 100 yards with two interceptions. It was another poor effort by the Bulldogs, who were outgained in total "O" (381-142) and first downs (20-9). Tennessee pulled the upset last week in a 10-6 win at Miami-Florida as +12 point underdogs. QB Casey Clausen completed 11-of-18 passes for 81 yards for Tennessee, which has won three in a row. Derrick Tinsley scored the lone touchdown of the game and recovered a fumble in the closing minutes to seal the win for the 18th-ranked Vols. Tennessee was outgained in total "O" 321-170, but capitalized on four Miami turnovers (2 fumbles, 2 interceptions). Miss State is 10-4 ATS in their last 14 November road games and the visitor in this series is 5-2 ATS the last 7. Tennessee comes in 25-1 SU and 17-9 ATS in their last 26 November home games.
HOUSTON (5-4 SU/5-3-1 ATS)

Houston comes in off a 31-10 home loss to So Miss as +7 point favorites. Anthony Evans paced the Cougars with 116 rushing yards on 24 carries. Kevin Kolb had a rough game under center, completing just 15-of-30 passes for 158 yards and an interception, while Vincent Marshall had four receptions for 70 yards for Houston, which lost its third consecutive game. Army comes off a 31-3 loss at Air Force as +29½ point underdogs. Army had six turnovers and just 199 total yards to match the worst start in school history (1973). The Black Knights have won once in 22 games and haven't beaten Air Force on the road since 1977, a span of 13 games. Army was totally outplayed in the game with deficits in total "O" (446-199), first downs (25-17) and time of possession (36:01 to 23:59). Houston is 1-4 ATS the last 5 meetings with Army and just 3-11ATS as an away chalk.
VIRGINIA TECH (7-2 SU/5-3 ATS)

Va Tech is off a 31-28 loss at Pitt last week as -4½ point road favorites. Kevin Jones had a big day for the Hokies with 241 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 30 carries. Marcus Vick took over for QB Bryan Randall in the second quarter, but couldn't rally the team like he did last week against Miami. Vick had better numbers, completing 8-of-15 passes with two interceptions for 147 yards, but he ran for only 22 yards on eight carries. Temple was pounded at Syracuse last week in a 41-17 loss as +18½ point underdogs. Walter Washington led the Temple attack by going 19-of-34 through the air for 183 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He also paced the team on the ground with 14 carries for 60 yards. The Owls didn't stand much of a chance as they were outgained in total "O" (457-262) and first downs (28-18). Va Tech is 9-1 SU but only 3-6-1 ATS the last ten with Temple, outscoring them 371-107 in those games.
BALL STATE (4-6 SU/4-5 ATS)
at E MICHIGAN (2-8 SU/4-4 ATS)
Ball State comes off a 28-20 loss at W Mich last week as +2½ point underdogs. Ball State was led by QB Talmadge Hill, who completed 21-of-33 passes for 255 yards. Hill rushed 12 times in the contest for 51 yards and a touchdown. Dante Ridgeway was the Cardinals' top receiver with 11 catches for 110 yards. Ball State lost despite edges in total "O" 437-417 and first downs 23-20. Eastern Michigan comes off a 19-13 home win over UCF as +7 point underdogs. RB Anthony Sherrell ran for 155 yards and a touchdown on 43 carries and QB Ken Bohnet led the Eagles' passing attack as he completed 8- of-17 passes for 116 yards with a touchdown and an interception. EMU controlled the game with edges in total "O" (268-181) and first downs (13-12). Ball State is 5-2 ATS the last seven trips to Eastern Michigan and 4-0 ATS the last four meetings overall.

North Carolina pulled the upset last week in a 42-34 home win over Wake Forest as +8½ point underdogs. QB Darian Durant completed 12-of-26 passes for 147 yards with two touchdowns and an interception and Ronnie McGill ran for 244 yards with three touchdowns on 29 carries to lift the North Carolina to the win. NC won the game despite deficits in total "O" (555-466) and first downs (32-25), but recovered three Wake fumbles in the game. Georgia Tech was stunned last week in a 41-17 road loss at Duke as -13½ point favorites. Yellow Jacket quarterback Reggie Ball completed 27-of-47 pass attempts for 247 yards, but was intercepted three times. Ball also rushed eight times for 26 yards with a score. Tech held a slight edge in total "O" (383-382), but coughed up the ball four times in the loss. NC is 2-7 the last 9 meetings with Ga Tech and 1-3 SU and ATS the last four visits to Atlanta. C Mich comes off a 40-28 home loss to Akron last week as +7½ point underdogs. QB Derrick Vickers completed 17-of-28 passes for 155 yards and three touchdowns and Jerry Seymour paced the Chippewas on the ground with 19 carries for 105 yards, while Terrence Jackson added 92 rushing yards on 18 attempts. It was not a good effort by CM, having deficits in total "O" (607-369), first downs (29-21) and time of possession (35:20 to 24:40), as the Chippewas lost their sixth game in seven outings. W Mich beat Ball State last week in a 28-20 home win as -2½ point favorites. QB Jon Drach completed 20-of-23 passes for 250 yards and four touchdowns, while Kendrick Mosley was Drach's favorite target with six catches for 117 yards with a touchdown. Phil Reed led the Western Michigan ground attack with 109 yards on 20 carries. WMU won the game despite deficits in total "O" (437-417) and first downs (23-20). QB Joel Klatt threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns on 19-for-25 passing and Brian Calhoun ran 22 times for 65 yards and a score and D.J. Hackett caught five passes for 84 yards, as Colorado snapped a three-game losing streak and beat Missouri for the fifth-straight time. The Buffs won the game despite deficits in total "O" (419-258) and first downs (25-17). Iowa State was pounded at home last week in a 45-0 loss to Kansas State as +19½ point underdogs. Iowa State split the quarterback duties between Waye Terry and Austin Flynn. Lorenzen also carried the ball 15 times for 39 yards and three touchdowns as well. Vandy hung tough last week in a 35-17 loss at Florida, but covered as +23½ point underdogs. Notre Dame is off a narrow 27-24 home win over Navy as -9½ point favorites. QB Ryan Dinwiddie completed 12-of-23 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns and WR Tim Gilligan caught eight passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns passes and ran for another score for the Broncos. David Mikell carried the ball 23 times for 113 yards with a touchdown in the victory, which was played in a snowstorm. The defeat denied the Seminoles an outright share of the ACC title and most likely dashed their hopes of a shot at the national championship game. Northern Illinois comes off an easy 40-9 win at Buffalo as -22½ point favorites. QB Josh Haldi completed 14-of-25 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns and RB Michael Turner had a great game, rushing for 163 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Turner also had two catches for 12 yards and a score, and P.J. Fleck led the squad with 142 yards on four receptions, as Northern Illinois won its second straight game after suffering its only loss of the year to Bowling Green two weeks ago. NIU outgained Buffalo in total "O" 481-306 and forced 4 turnovers in the game (2 fumbles, two interceptions. Toledo is off a bye week after pounding Buffalo at home in a 56-29 win as -27 point chalks. QB Bruce Gradkowski completed 23-of-25 passes for 435 yards and six TD's in the win for the Rockets. He also gained 40 yards on the ground as Toledo generated 685 yards in total offense, while limiting Buffalo to 394 yards of offense. Lance Moore finished with eight catches for 195 yards, while Steve Odom added nine receptions for an additional 143 yards for the Rockets. Baylor was pounded at home last week in a 62-14 loss to Texas Tech as +26 point underdogs. Despite the loss, Rashad Armstrong had a strong effort, rushing for 124 yards and one score on 15 carries for Baylor, who have lost five-straight. Shawn Bell converted 14-of-18 pass attempts for 138 yards off the bench for the Bears. Bell came in for Aaron Karas who left the game after completing just 4-of-8 passes for 26 yards and one interception. Baylor was dominated in the game with deficits in total "O" (691-246) and first downs (39-13). The top-ranked Sooners took it to Texas A&M last week in a 77-0 home win as -30 point chalks. QB Jason White connected on 16-of-18 passes for 263 yards and five touchdowns to improve his Heisman Trophy chances and Mark Clayton had a huge day, catching seven passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns and Kejuan Jones ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. It was the most dominant effort by ant team in the college ranks in recent memory, with the Sooners holding edges in total "O" (630-54) and first downs (35-2). San Jose State pounded UTEP last week, 69-41 as -2½ point road chalks. QB Scott Rislov threw for a school record 543 yards and seven touchdowns on a 28-of-39 passing performance and three different Spartans went over 100 yards receiving with Tauti Wooden's 10 catches for 136 yards and a touchdown leading the way. Leon Pinky added five catches for 109 yards and two scores, while Courtney Anderson chipped in three receptions for 100 yards and three touchdowns. Damarcus Ingram led the ground attack with 56 yards and a score on 14 carries, as San Jose State snapped its brief two-game slide. Fresno State comes off a 26-10 win at Nevada last week as -1 point favorites. QB Paul Pinegar hit 19-of-28 for 184 yards and a touchdown for Fresno State, which has now won three straight contests. The Bulldogs also generated 212 yards rushing, with Dwayne Wright leading the way with 91 yards and a score on 20 carries. Air Force had an easy time last week in a 31-3 home win over Army, but did not cover as -29½ point favs. Air Force had 372 yards rushing to beat Army for the seventh straight year and win for the first time since October 11th against UNLV. Air Force lost to Navy on October 4th, but can still earn a share of the Commander-in-Chief Trophy if Army can beat the Midshipmen. It was a good effort for the Falcons as they held edges in total "O" (446-199), first downs (25-17) and time of possession (36:01 to 23:59). New Mexico comes off a 37-34 home win over Colorado State last week as +1½ point home underdogs. RB DonTrell Moore rushed for 242 yards and three touchdowns and Wes Zunker kicked a 33-yard field goal as time expired to lift New Mexico to the win. Moore's 242 yards on the ground was the second-best single game rushing effort in New Mexico history. It was a good effort by the Lobos as they outgained Colorado State in total "O" 425-328, including 319-111 on the ground. Jason Samples was his primary outlet and grabbed seven balls for 91 yards and a score for Troy State, which has now lost three-straight games. Tim Van Zant led the squad with two catches for 20 yards. It was a very bad effort for the Aggies as they were outgained in total "O" 630-54 and first downs (35-2). The 77 points were the most points ever given up in a game by a Texas A&M team. Mizzou was upset last week in a 21-16 loss at Colorado as -5½ point road favs. QB Brad Smith had an up-and-down day for the Tigers, completing 29- of-42 passes for 287 yards and two touchdowns. He ran for 102 yards on 21 carries, but also threw two costly interceptions and lost a crucial fumble. Mizzou outgained Colorado in total "O" (419-258) and first downs (25-17), but fumble twice in the game. Offensively, A&M comes in ranked 57th, averaging 385 ypg, while Mizzou ranks 37th, averaging 404 ypg. Samie Parker pulled down a team-high six balls for 63 yards and a touchdown, while Tim Day added four receptions for 69 yards and a score. UCLA is off a 31-13 loss at Wash State last week as +10½ point underdogs. QB Matt Moore completed just 11-of-29 passes for 138 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for the Bruins, who turned the ball over seven times. Tyler Ebell ran for 105 yards on just 12 carries for UCLA, while Maurice Drew added 80 yards on 23 attempts. Drew, though, had two of the Bruins' four lost fumbles. UCLA turned the ball over 7 times, as did Wash State, but had edges in total "O" (365-323) and first downs (18-14). It was another balanced effort for the Trojans as they held a 436-320 edge in total "O", gaining 222 yards on the ground and 214 through the air. The defense did a great job as well, as they held Wash State to minus 25 rushing yards. Arizona finally got a win last week in a 27-22 victory over Washington as +15 point home underdogs. Kris Heavner completed 10-of-20 pass attempts for 151 yards, a touchdown, and an interception and Michael Bell ran for 222 yards and three touchdowns in Wildcats, who snapped an eight-game losing streak. Arizona held a 405-397 edge in total, but had only 11 first downs. Offensively, the Trojans rank 17th in the nation, averaging 443 ypg, while Arizona ranks 110th, averaging 304 ypg. BenJarvus Green-Ellis had 98 yards rushing and a touchdown on 25 carries and Courtney Roby caught eight passes for 81 yards. Indiana was outgained in total "O" 358-355, but held a 25-17 edge in first downs. Penn State continued to struggle last week in a 17-7 loss at Northwestern as -5½ point road chalks. Pittsburgh (7-2, 4-0 Big East) now has the inside track on the Big East title with games at West Virginia and Temple over the next two weeks. Two more wins would set up a likely conference championship showdown with Miami at Heinz Field on November 29. West Virginia got the job done last week in a 35-28 win at BC as +4 point underdogs. Hawaii is off a bye week after a narrow 13-10 road win at San Jose State two weeks ago as -13 point chalks. The Warriors racked up only 79 yards on the ground with West Keliikipi leading the squad with only 36 yards and one score on four carries. Nevada continued to slide last week in a 26-10 home loss to Fresno State as +1 point underdogs. Auburn comes off a 24-20 home loss to Ole Miss last week as -9 point favorites. RB Carnell "Cadillac" Williams rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries for the Tigers, who have dropped two of three after a five-game win streak. The Tigers lost despite holding a 389-302 edge in total "O". 9th-ranked Georgia is off a bye week after dropping a 16-13 decision to Florida as -2 point favorites, in a game played at Jacksonville, Fla. QB David Greene finished 18-of-32 passing for 188 yards and an interception and Kregg Lumpkin scored the only touchdown for the Bulldogs, who had a four-game win streak halted. Georgia lost despite holding edges in total "O" (390-324), first downs (24-17) and time of possession (34:03 to 25:57). Auburn is 8-1 ATS as an away dog versus Georgia and the visitor is 8-3 ATS the last 11 meetings between these two squads.
NC STATE (7-3 SU/3-6 ATS)

NC State is off a bye week after posting a 51-37 home win over Virginia as +1 point underdogs. QB Phillip Rivers completed 29-of-34 passes for 410 yards and four TD's, while RB T.A. McLendon led the Wolfpack's running attack, rushing for 121 yards and one touchdown off of 18 carries. McLendon also finished with a game-high 11 catches for 104 yards. It was a good effort by NC State, who had edges in total "O" (552-445) and first downs (24-20). Previously 3rd-ranked Florida State was upset last week in a 26-10 loss at Clemson as -17 point road favs. QB Chris Rix had a rough day for Florida State, throwing for only 194 yards with two interceptions and a fumble in the loss before being pulled early in the fourth quarter. The defeat denied the Seminoles an outright share of the ACC title and most likely dashed their hopes of a shot at the national championship game. The game also marked the fifth all-time meeting between the Bowden’s, father and son. Leading Clemson, Tommy won for the first time against his dad Bobby, the all-time winningest coach in Division I-A history with 340 victories. NC State is 3-8 SU and 4-7 ATS the last 11 with the Noles, but won SU and ATS the last two years.
SYRACUSE (5-3 SU/4-4 ATS)
at MIAMI-FLORIDA (7-2 SU/4-5 ATS)
Syracuse is off a 41-17 home win over Temple as -18½ point favorites. Walter Reyes rushed for 93 yards and two touchdowns and R.J. Anderson also accounted for two scores, as he completed 16-of-20 passes for 221 yards with a touchdown while contributing another 39 rushing yards and a TD. It was a good display by Syracuse as they held edges in total "O" (457-262) and first downs (28-18). Miami was upset at home last week in a 10-6 loss to Tennessee. QB Brock Berlin was 22-of-35 for 213 yards, but was picked off twice and also lost a fumble. Jarrett Payton rushed 15 times for 91 yards and Kellen Winslow caught seven passes for 88 yards for the Hurricanes, who have dropped two in a row for the first time since they dropped three straight during the 1999 campaign. Miami managed only four first downs through two quarters, compared to 11 for the Volunteers. Miami outgained Tennessee in total "O" 321-170, but had four turnovers (2 fumbles, 2 interceptions) in the game. Kansas State looked good last week in a 45-0 win at Iowa State as -18 point favs. QB Ell Roberson completed 10-of-12 passes for 96 yards with two touchdowns and also rushed for 66 yards on eight carries. RB Darren Sproles ran for 201 yards with three touchdowns on 19 carries in the blow out win for the Wildcats. It was a dominant effort by K-State as they held edges in total "O" (504-140), first downs (23-7), as well as 355-37 on the ground, while the defense intercepted three passes. Nebraska comes off a 24-3 win at Kansas as -18½ point favorites. QB Jammal Lord was 7-of-13 for 110 yards with an interception, but also added 86 yards on the ground and Cory Ross ran for 114 yards on 19 carries for the Cornhuskers, who bounced back from their second loss of the 2003 campaign. Symons completed 32-of-47 passes for 428 yards and seven touchdowns and Johnnie Mack led the ground game with 71 yards and one score on seven carries. The receiving corps had a phenomenal day with Mickey Peters leading the way with nine receptions for 130 yards and one score. Carlos Francis added seven catches for 112 yards and two touchdowns, while Nehemiah Glover racked up 132 yards and one score on five grabs. It was a total domination by the Red Raiders as they had edges in total "O" (691-246) and first downs (39-13). Texas is off a solid 55-16 road win at Oklahoma State last week as -3½ point favorites. Will Matthews ran for three touchdowns and Cedric Benson rushed for 180 yards and a score as Texas scored 48 unanswered points en route to a the win. Roy Williams finished with 162 yards and a touchdown on six receptions for the Longhorns, who outgained OSU, 502-309 in total "O". Texas Tech is 4-7 ATS in their last road game of the season and the home team in this series is 6-3 ATS the last nine meetings. Adimchinobe Echemandu led the ground attack with 65 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries. The loss snapped California's brief two-game winning streak. Lemon racked up 151 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 34 carries and QB Chris Lewis passed for two touchdowns and added another score on the ground for Stanford, as he finished the day with 279 yards and an interception on 18-of-34 passing. Alex Smith grabbed six passes for 49 yards and a score, while Evan Moore caught two balls for 79 yards and a touchdown in the winning effort. Oregon State had a bye last week after posting a 52-23 home win over Arizona as -23½ point favorites. QB Derek Anderson completed 21-of-32 pass attempts for 308 yards and RB Steve Jackson led Oregon State on the ground with 107 yards and three scores off of 28 carries. Jackson also caught a touchdown pass and finished the game with two receptions for 26 yards. Turner also had two catches for 12 yards and a score, and P.J. Fleck led the squad with 142 yards on four receptions, as Northern Illinois won its second straight game after suffering its only loss of the year to Bowling Green two weeks ago. NIU outgained Buffalo in total "O" 481-306 and forced 4 turnovers in the game (2 fumbles, two interceptions. Toledo is off a bye week after pounding Buffalo at home in a 56-29 win as -27 point chalks. QB Bruce Gradkowski completed 23-of-25 passes for 435 yards and six TD's in the win for the Rockets. He also gained 40 yards on the ground as Toledo generated 685 yards in total offense, while limiting Buffalo to 394 yards of offense. Baylor was dominated in the game with deficits in total "O" (691-246) and first downs (39-13). The top-ranked Sooners took it to Texas A&M last week in a 77-0 home win as -30 point chalks. QB Jason White connected on 16-of-18 passes for 263 yards and five touchdowns to improve his Heisman Trophy chances and Mark Clayton had a huge day, catching seven passes for 166 yards and three touchdowns and Kejuan Jones ran for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries. It was the most dominant effort by ant team in the college ranks in recent memory, with the Sooners holding edges in total "O" (630-54) and first downs (35-2). Damarcus Ingram led the ground attack with 56 yards and a score on 14 carries, as San Jose State snapped its brief two-game slide. Fresno State comes off a 26-10 win at Nevada last week as -1 point favorites. QB Paul Pinegar hit 19-of-28 for 184 yards and a touchdown for Fresno State, which has now won three straight contests. Air Force had an easy time last week in a 31-3 home win over Army, but did not cover as -29½ point favs. Air Force had 372 yards rushing to beat Army for the seventh straight year and win for the first time since October 11th against UNLV. Air Force lost to Navy on October 4th, but can still earn a share of the Commander-in-Chief Trophy if Army can beat the Midshipmen. It was a good effort for the Falcons as they held edges in total "O" (446-199), first downs (25-17) and time of possession (36:01 to 23:59). New Mexico comes off a 37-34 home win over Colorado State last week as +1½ point home underdogs. RB DonTrell Moore rushed for 242 yards and three touchdowns and Wes Zunker kicked a 33-yard field goal as time expired to lift New Mexico to the win. Moore's 242 yards on the ground was the second-best single game rushing effort in New Mexico history. It was a good effort by the Lobos as they outgained Colorado State in total "O" 425-328, including 319-111 on the ground.
