With the Prescription's permission,I would like to sponsor a contest for the college bowl season. The winner will get a $250 account with Olympic Sports. It's not much, but it's out of my pocket.I have enjoyed all of your opinions on the college forum and applaud those of you having good seasons.I have had a terrible college football season and have not contributed to this forum in a useful manner. This is my way of saying thanks to you guys that have contributed.

Rules
I am open to suggestions on how to operate the contest. My initial thought is to require everyone to pick a side and total of every game before the first game is played. You could then make unlimited changes based on game day situations,i.e. injuries, weather, and the usual suspensions due to driving while intoxicated.Anyway let me know your thoughts.

personally, i don't like the idea of requiring players to make picks on EACH game, especially side AND total, because a lot of what makes a capper good is his selectivity. so someone could go 30-10, but not have really liked any of his winners or played any of em for real money. i think a good idea would be to set no limit whatsoever on the number of games (min or max) and just count every game as 1 unit (1.1 to win 1.0). That way, whoever wins at the end of bowl season is probably the capper who knows both how to pick winners and how to stay off losers. of course, the best way would be a bankroll system, but that would be more difficult to track, so i'd like to see 1 unit per play. if someone only chooses 5 games and goes 5-0 for 5 units, he may have a chance againt people who pick a bunch of games but lose, just like in real life. its total units earned. IMO
