GB, believe it or not I appreciate the post as I used to listen to CC but have not since he moved on from ESPN as I do not have satellite radio. I recall a few years back he did very well w/ these but not sure if he has had consistent success or not.

I accidentally was channel surfing and he was on the Fox show......I heard him say blazin 5 picks in 5 minutes so i kept it on.

He says he does them the same time very Friday.....It was 1:10

I certaintly don't tail (or fade him) but anytime I can hear thougt-out opinions on football lines, I am willing to listen.

He doesn't do what most pundits do -- like Mike and Mike or Skip just say things like "I really like Aaron Rodgers." Herd considers sharp/square money, line movement, trends -- plus some Xs and Os. A lot of guys just offer very weak Xs and Os.

Totally agree Chonce. I don't follow him either but he has some very insightful guests on his show. Used to listen regularly when he was on ESPN but a bit more difficult now although I need to try harder. My favorite guest he had on weekly in the past was Greg Cosell. Fantastic insight from that guy for those interested. Not sure if Cosell is on this season again or not. Howard Cosell's cousin if my memory is correct.

i think the guys was pointing out that he gives good reasoning behind his selections and it is a good couple hours of radio everyday at work. I enjoy Cowherd's opinion on things.
