agree with maryland ralph may be on the hot seat. I dont see Charlie with ND going anywhere as he will have a winning season they will give him another year. My two big ones and they may be crazy but Vanderbilt and Baylor may be looking.

Briles is not going to get fired at Baylor as they have improved under him. Huff won't go at Washington State as he has arguably the youngest team in the country. He will do good things there, just needs the time.

Ralph might not go either as his team is young & this was looked at as a rebuilding year anyhow. Groh I feel will be a goner as he has underachieved with the Cavs during his overall tenure.

The Hawaii job won't be open as he will have a pretty decent leash & honestly who is coming there knowing the university does not commit to the upgrades necessary to compete with other schools.

Another related topic would be current HC's who are secure in their jobs but need to replace one or more assistants. I have in mind Stoops at Oklahoma with Wilson (OC). It seems to me the OC's have are effective for only so long and either become predictable or lose their edge. Interested to see how others feel about teams they follow. Spurrier basically cleaned house this year and his team is a lot more competitive now.

Heard on ESPN radio the other day that Gruden is next in line for the Notre Dame job, not sure if that will be after this season or next........but as a Notre Dame fan, i'll be excited to see that

Agreed. Big reason why I left him on the 50-50 list. CU is starting to show signs of life as of late (3-0 ATS in their last 3, won outright as a double digit dog at home to Kansas LW) and it's not out of the question that they get 3 more wins heading into the Nebraska game. Kansas State, Texas A&M, and Iowa State are still on the schedule, and after last week's performaces no one in the North looks unbeatable even for Colorado. Them and Virginia are in very similar situations: Ugly start in the OOC slate, but starting to figure it our in conference play.

Johnson is safe at Vandy. Believe me Vandy having Johnson is like Florida having Meyer. He can stay as long as he wishes!

While I agree that Friedgen will be gone, Franklin is the coach in-waiting. Similar to Jimbo Fisher at FSU. That gig won't be available.

agree.....but with beamer and fridge friends , and vt offense terrible he might get that job....a couple of vt insiders told me that are close with beamer....
