Coach LT 9-20 Rubberband Game.

For people that are new on The RX, a Rubberband Game is my absolute best play. For veteran RXers, it is time for Toe to meet Leather!

We will be on Toledo +7 playing at home vs Fresno State. The situational angle on this game is 100% on the gold standard.

Fresno St has come off of a heartbreaking 3 point loss at home against Wisconsin. FSU coach Pat Hill had stated that this game was the most important home game in Fresno history. After losing to Wisconsin, Fresno now has to go to Toledo as a demoralized and disheartened team. And obtw, Fresno travels to UCLA the following week. A Classic Let Down after Whisky and Look A Head to UCLA.

This is Toledo's first home game so we should get a supreme effort from them. I think Toledo wins the game straight up.

Also playing into the "rubberband" effect is this is Fresno's second trip east (2 time zones) in 3 weeks. Have to agree that Toledo puts a top effort into the game being their first home game of the year.

Toledo also has a slight revenge factor as Fresno crushed Toledo out there a couple years ago.

All the stars are aligned for this game regarding angles you look for with your big plays.

Kickoff has been moved back to 8:15 so that gives the tailgaters & student fans another hour to get tipsy and later rowdy.

LT, this would have been one of my special situation plays if you had not already posted it. You have said it all. Second trip across country for Fresno State in less than a month and a huge sandwitch for Fresno for the reasons you said. It's going to take sometime for Fresno to stop thinking of last weeks loss to Wisky and now no way they can get up for Toledo, a game that has no real meaning.

I'm playing a third of my Toledo play on the MoneyLine and the other two thirds taking the 7 points. Good Luck LT, you found a winner.
