going under the 9.5 with the extra juice but would gladly play it at 9 flat. lots of reasons to think this one stays under the number. no mauer for minnesota, no shoppach for cleveland. game one of this series only went over the total because kobayashi is a gas can and served up a meatball in the 9th inning to almost ruin lee's gem. last night's 'over' you could see coming from a mile away - carmona had control issues before going on the DL this year and clearly hasnt been right. so getting rocked in his first start back wasnt much of a surprise. but this sunday finale should be much truer to form for these two inept offenses. sowers is a wild card - you never know what you will get from him but he has been very good against minnesota in his career over a moderate sample. 9.5 should prove tough to crack.
