Not saying it's the case in this game, but this stuff happens in games with spreads of 2 or less either way, consequently flipping the fav and dog, and then you see that team winning by 16 later that night on sportscenter..

i shoulda said that it is irrelevant unless you were ahead of the move. if you hop on too late the bet is worthless. i would rather be the one initiating steam then following it is all i meant.

Here is my take: all knowledge is valuable, but once the ball is put in play it doesnt really matter where the money is (unless you are talking fix and that's for another thread). What matters is how many points are put on the board by each team, and all the smart money in the world ain't gonna help that 19 yr old kid make the free throw that cashes your ticket...

That said, there is a lot of info to be gleaned from line movements, and I appreciate all of the wisdom in here in trying to understand their meaning....
