this afc north is as wide open as any division in pro football. you could legitimately make a good case for any of the four teams winning the division. what does that mean for cleveland? imo, they could finish anywhere from 1st to 3rd. the browns definitely have a tough schedule, but its a walk in the park compared to what the steelers are going to be dealing with this year. pittsburgh's schedule is (on paper of course) absolutely brutal. i will still argue that the bengals have a good shot to win the north. they havent slipped as much as people think. obviously chemistry and non-football stuff could blow them up at any time. but theyre more than good enough to win 10 games. and if somebody wanted to make a case for baltimore winning this division, you would have to at least hear them out because its possible. everybody seems to have an opinion on cleveland this year. theyre a super bowl contender to some ... and a fraud who will watch the playoffs from home to other people. imo, they will fall right in the middle. they should be in position to be a little over .500 but they simply will not make the playoffs until they learn how to beat pittsburgh. you cant go 0-2 against the steelers every year and expect to make the postseason. not enough games in the season to overcome that. the offense will be as good as advertised, although losing jurevicius hurts way more than outsiders think.
