Just a little insight on the game from a Clemson fan but I don't wear my orange glasses. Our special teams hurt us all game. They scored 7 out of 16 drives. 5 of the 7 drives were on the plus side of the field because of poor special teams and a fumble. They didn't have a TD over 50 yards. Every time they got the ball on the long side of the field, 3 and outs mostly. Our special teams are on par to cost us a game, fwiw. We played terrible at LB as well.
Flip side we we only stopped ourselves offensively.
This is too big of a hurdle for Clemson to get over without just squeaking by. FSU represents a big mental block for Clemson especially after the last two seasons. I think FSU ML is in play, but I would definitely take the points. Opened at 12, creeping up a little. Nothing wrong with giving it a chance to get to +13 or possibly even +14 before pulling the trigger.

Golson is lost in this offense, a few months is not enough time to master it. He has made the line and receivers look bad with his inability to run the offense. Maguire starts, verticle game becomes a threat, which opens up Cook and Patrick in the running game. Look at comments from Cuse d coord, who said he "would have rather seen Golson because he doesnt check"....no coincidence that o-line looked better and receivers got seperation w Maguire. He knows where to go with the ball, Golson holds it bc he just doesnt trust what he sees. Jimbo runs a pro set, which requires throws before receivers make their breaks.
