that McCain saved his best speech for last. That was the best speech that I heard McCain give all year and it was the first time in my opinion that he looked "presidential".

If he would have given speeches like that throughout the campaign he may have been able to snatch the election.

To me, he looked relieved out there. This campaign had a bad effect on him. All of his class and character were absent for most of the past 6 months, but they really shined through in the concession. Makes me wonder if he would have made it through 4 years on the job.

Steak - I just thought he looked and sounded like a totally different person during that concession speech and maybe as stated in an earlier post "he looked relieved". I voted for Obama, but I was just shocked and glad at the same time that McCain waited until now to give his best speech.
