The annual inflation rate would rise from 4.8% in his first yeat to 6.8% in his second year, 9% in his third year, and hover around 12% in his last year.
Although he would pledge to eliminate federal deficits, the deficit would rise from $27.7 billion, to nearly $59 billion.
With approximately 8 million people out of work, the unemployment rate would level off to a nationwide average of about 7.7% by the time of his election campaign, but he would lose anyway.
He would face a drastic erosion of the value of the US dollar and a persistent trade deficit, much of it a result of US dependence on foreign oil.
He would warn that Americans were wasting too much energy, that domestic supplies of oil and natural gas were running out, and that foreign supplies of petroleum were subject to embargoes by the producing nations, principally by members of OPEC. In the wake of widespread shortages of gasoline, he would advance a long-term program designed to solve the energy problem. He would propose a limit on imported oil, gradual price decontrol on domestically produced oil, a stringent program of conservation, and development of alternative sources of energy such as solar, nuclear, and geothermal power, oil and gas from shale and coal, and synthetic fuels.
And he would address the nation in a sweater instead of a suit and tie.

Matthew's bread and butter is hacking away at Republicans and is at his best with a Republican POTUS. He was completely out of his element when the Dem's had the House, the Senate, and the POTUS because he had no one to blame but his own party. Now he is almost defenseless as the economy is going to shit and his party has no answers.

That's all it comes down to. People feel as if some young, ____ guy isn't suited to be "their" President. So as Dave even pointed out, he would rather have a real liberal in office... then Willie goes on to say Obamacare was the 3rd most liberal policy ever. Hahaha, do they not realize if Hillary Clinton was President she would have made public option with out any doubt of the imagination, she would have wrecked havoc on Wall Street for destroying the economy, and she would have raised taxes. Any liberal would have done that.

Quit immediately the use of that very fuzzy unclear crystal ball of yours, one of the only 2 reasons BO won the Dem nomination was that he was black because of the black voting block in early primary states like Delaware, Virginia,
Maryland & the Carolina's. The other reason was his unified fanatical support in the caucus staes where a few thousand fanatics swayed the delegate count.
