I will update my record when the 2 pending plays are complete. Down somewhere around 13 to 17 units. I feel like im down 50 units but when you look at the big picture its not as bad as it seems. I have a really great card today. Today will be the first real test to see if the adjustments I made during my time off gets this ship going in the right direction.

3)BREWERS -126 $378 for $300 BS/BA
3)M'S -104 $312 for $300 JW/MM
3)Philly -1.5 +111 $300 for $333 JL/SO
2)WHITESOX/TWINS UNDER 8 -118 $236 for $200 JS/MB
1)BRAVES -106 $106 for $100 JS/JP

As I do every single year, I play on and against some of the same teams alot. It has nothing to do with a due factor or because I hate a certain team, it has to do with rankings. If I have a team ranked highly compared to public perception(MONEYLINE) chances are they will be on my card often. If I have a team ranked on the low side compared to public perception chances are I will be against them often. It has nothing to do with some people saying I have a hatred towards the Yankees. They just happen to get over juiced alot forcing me to play against them.

The bottem line is I had some bad ratings coming into the season. Having bad ratings to start a year does not make you or break you. The key to success is realizing you had some bad rankings and making the adjustment before you get too far down. Thats what I have been doing the last 3 days is making alot of adjustments. Not just to take a vacation from the poundings. It takes days to make a major overhaul. WASHINGTON alot lower,LOL and the Mets etc..... alot higher just to name a few.

This is the 2nd phase of the baseball season. You have the opening phase which is your initial perceptions of how good each team is going to be for the year. That phase was not a huge success. The good thing is with solid money management we are only down 16 to 17 units YTD. Someone else with the same bets could be down 70 units right now with bad MM.

This is the first time all year that I have made major changes to my rankings. I have made small tweeks since opening day, but this is more first complete overhall of the year. Todays games will be the first test to see if everything is going back in the right directions.

My cards all year have featured several teams alot. WASHINGTON etc... Since the ratings have changed you will see alot of new teams on my card alot.

Lets hope that these changes get things going back in the right direction because I am a strong believer in the saying "You cant keep doing the same thing over and over and expect to get a different result.

GOOD LUCK everyone and lets cash!!!!!!

Going to bed.

32-47 -$2032 if M's lose
33-46 -$1808 if M's win

Whatever the case not good.

Have to really consider the fact that April could be a losing month.

I will know more after todays games.

I feel bad for the people that are down 20 units. I really do. I cant tell people how to spend there money but the only way I can make it up to you is to hang in there. It will turn around. I know that requires a small leap of faith, but its the only way you will recover from this start. I think I have already bottemed out for the season. Dont think it will get any worse. Still above my season low from about a week ago. I think the changes I made will start to show any day.

Lets have a winning day.

The fact is CT, you can'tt help the people with poor Money management. You ahve only lost 20% of the bankroll which leaves 80% left for people to work with who use good money management. Thats ALOT to work with. Its thier own problem if they don't understand how to gamble. Don't feel bad. Kick ass tomorrow buddy. We are behind you 110%

By the wayy, I AM HAMMERRED.

Behind you 100% CHOP. One question: why play a big card when you're having a rough stretch? Aren't you supposed to lower you're bets when slumping? With that said, let's sweep! :103631605

Why is everyone questioning what Chop is doing? You all have a choice to pass or play, very simple. Chop has shown the ability to select winners and make money, he has done it in the past and will do it in the near future, Chop has just been in a rough stretch, what is the big deal??? Stay the course Chop and don't sweat the small stuff. GL today and always, things will turn your way very soon!

..

..keep going; with increasing vigor; choppie..!!

..i am glad you are making adjustments; as the books certainly do; and essentially; a top capper has a better rating of teams ; and situations; matchups; than the public; and hence; the books; and: duh; that's how you beat tha man..!!!

just don't overdo it chop..

you are a big winner; but this year; there was over-optimism prior to bases season; and just too much pressure to do well early and every day...

u da man chop..!!!

Dang it chop. Can you PM me your picks next time BEFORE you post them here? LOL.

The lines moved. A LOT. Now:

Brewers -138
Twins/WSox Under 8 -139

I don't think I will bet that under bet with -139 juice, but do you still see value at Brewers -138?

Calling out ChopTalk

Chop what's up Pal? I think that you are the best Bases Capper here in the forum..I watched you for like 2 strait seasons man and you bailed me out many times with my local and you don't even know it..LOL

Listen I like St.Louis (Mulder) today at home against the Cubs without their best player what do you think? Is it a decent bailout game or what?
