Chonce's NFL Picks (Week 3)

A decent week last week has me at 16-9 + 3.3 units.

Thursday:
Pat's (First Half) + .5 (-120) - 1 unit

Pat's ML (+105) - 1 unit

I have noticed the Pat's have taken big leads and than held on in the 2nd half, which is why I am also going first half. If it cashes, I may have a middling opportunity as well.

Seriously though, I'm against you on this one of course. I won't play it, just watch it. The Texans are horrible on TNF and against NE, so history tells me to just watch. Of course that has nothing to do with the game, but they still need to show me something.

My main concern with Houston is their offense hasn't started clicking 100% yet. New QB, new RB, new WR, new o-lineman. It takes a few games to get them all on the same page. Their defense has basically won the first two games, and Belichick will test them.

Thanks guys. At the risk of being redundant (I posted this elsewhere) i saw the following stat on the NFL Reddit page.

Belichick is 5-0 when QBs are making their first career start.

Todd Philcox- W vs Raiders
Eric Zeier- W vs Bengals
Tom Brady- W vs Colts
Matt Cassel- W vs Jets
Jimmy Garoppolo- W vs Cardinals

But, I am from Boston, so while I like this play, as is always the case I like to remind people of that! Who knows how it screws with my subconcious. But NE is an amazing SU home team. And they only need to win this one SU. It won't be easy of course. And I don't' know what the game plan will be, which is why I am not betting a total (a tantalizingly low 40, team total of 19.5 for NE). But I don't know if BB will suprise and play with pace, or run the ball every down.
