So it seems there was some type of court settlement and I came across the story just now...I checked ticketmaster and I have 34 free tickets and many more 2.25 discounts..

PORTLAND, Maine —Have you checked your Ticketmaster account recently? A settlement from a class-action lawsuit includes vouchers that are appearing in users' accounts.

According to Ticketmaster, the Schlesinger v. Ticketmaster class-action settlement includes ticket codes that can be redeemed for designated concert events. Ticketmaster agreed to hand out $386 million in discount codes, which will be good for four years.
The lawsuit alleged the company's order processing fee and UPS deliver fee were misrepresented. Ticketmaster refuted the claims.
The class action includes any online transaction made between Oct. 21, 1999, and Feb. 27, 2013.


Ticketmaster said users should expect to receive one ticket code for two tickets to general admission seating "at designated concert events at Live Nation owned or operated venues, subject to availability and limitations."
The codes were due to appear in accounts on or around Saturday.

These ticket sites are the biggest crock of shit. I've bought $30 tickets that end up costing well over $40 after their fees....and $75-$100 tickets with even higher fees. How the fuck does it cost that much to print and coordinate a seat at a show? A 10,000 seat venue brings in a few hundred thousand dollars for these ticket sites. It's unreal. It should be more than $3-5.

when clicking link associated with code it will take you to a page where you can sign up to receive email alerts as shows are added...

Every time I go to buy tickets on Ticketmaster I am always outraged at the fees and costs that I go to the arena to buy them and there is no surcharge. I bought 4 tickets to Def Leppard and Styx and saved $84 in fees by buying them at the arena.

So I have tried over the last week only to experience technical difficulties and the like. This morning I attempt again and am told that all tickets eligible to be bought with vouchers have been taken and they anticipate making more available at some point. I'm thinking a second lawsuit may be in order here, un friggin real!What a scam

I looked first day and nothing was even close to my area..then I looked again and shit was in my area but sold out
