Suppose a person goes to a couple of these in his hometown cashes a couple of checks then moves out of state never to repay these. Anyone know what the consequences would be. Would it be considered a crime and show up on a police report if you get pulled over in a different state. Would ther be a warrant issued for your arrest. Havent done this just curious if someone knew the answer to this?

Don't do it. That would make you a real asshole and I believe they would be looking for you.

check cashing places take many precautions before cashing a check. they are very strict when it comes to forms of i.d . Also what kind of check will you be cashing? From yourself? If its your first time there or something seems suspicious (like a personal check) the clerk just calls the bank to verify it anyway. You're post does not make much sense so I'm not sure exactly what you're trying to do.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..
