This season is finished for TBay

There will be no division championship

There will be no wildcard appearance.

At the pace they're playing, the Oakland Raiders and their strong ground game could come in next week and put a bloody stamp on what will be yet another non-playoff team under coach Jon Gruden.

Bucs would need "help" to miss the playoffs, even if they lose out.

Nope...if they lose out, they're done, unless ATL lost both at Min and vs STL

Dallas owns the tiebreaker due to H2H win

Didn't realize that, thanks. Bears could sneak in there yet too.

You are an absolute dueche bag Barman...every year you chime in a few times with your Bucs wont make playoffs, Tampa wont have winning record...this team sucks...and each year they prove you wrong...Your hate for them is unfathomable...Did Lee Roy Selmon rape you a child or what....Your stalking of this team ranks up there with everytime Railbird makes an ascine post somebody is waiting or Mr Newlywed wins fake parlays....we get it you dont like the team and when they had one of best records all year you dont say anything but as soon as they hit a losing streak your right there cant wait to chime in...i'm sure your a huge NY Giants fan, always been a Phillies fan and you'll decide in a month if your college team is Florida or Oklahoma.

The problem isn't Jon Gruden, nor the offense. The problem the last 3 games has been our defense. Everything has gone wrong.

#1 we all the sudden can't tackle
#2 DT's have been out, and that's killed our run stop
#3 3rd down, we're gettin no pass rush on 3rd down and it's killing us....watch todays game over again and look at the 3rd downs...if we get even 1/2 the stops on 3rd down, this game could've very well been a 17point tampa bay win.

against carolina it was ronde barber, one of the historically best tackling CB's just played like dog shit.
last week against atlanta i knew we had no chance of winning when brian griese was starting. he doesn't know how to get us in the endzone, and often allows the other team in the endzone.
this week it was Phillip Buchanon getting torched

don't blame jon gruden, blame the defense

if washington and minnesota both lose today we're in same boat we entered today as.

at worst, we need atleast Philly or Atlanta, 1 of them to lose...if they both win, then you might as well forget about it.

We need a Washington win this week over Philly, then a Philly win over Dallas next week.

That'd put us in the 6th spot if we can win next week.

We also need Chicago to go 1-1 or worse.

Extended vomiting ensues.

Since winning the Super Bowl in Feb 2002, the TB Bucs have failed to have a winning record in three of five seasons and are 0-2 in the lowly two playoff appearances they've made in that time.

Since winning that Super Bowl, Bucs under Coach Guru Gruden are a lusty

7-9
5-11
11-6
4-12
9-8
9-6
----------
45-52

And in those meager 45 wins, they have an even more meager nine wins against teams that ended the season with a winning record.

The Bucs under Offensive Genius Jon Gruden have in the past six seasons averaged 16.8 pts a game from their offense.

It's not unreasonable to state that the TBay Bucs over past six seasons are only better than maybe seven other franchises.

SF
STL
NO
CIN
CLE
HOU
DET

Or to sum it up even more concisely - They Pretty Much Blow

Or for those who prefer a more precise shredding of TICKET's rant:

T: Every year you say Tampa wont have winning record...this team sucks...and each year they prove you wrong..

B: So far they've "proved me wrong" just twice in five years and after next week it will be twice in six years.

T: ..we get it you dont like the team and when they had one of best records all year you dont say anything

B: That's because the NFL doesn't hand out playoff spots after 12 weeks. The Big Boys are the ones still standing on Jan 1

T: ..i'm sure your a huge NY Giants fan, always been a Phillies fan and you'll decide in a month if your college team is Florida or Oklahoma.

B: Not a "fan" of any NFL team or college team and only baseball team for whom I cheer is the TB Rays. I'm a "fan" of the teams that can deliver the $$$ and thus it should be little wonder why I think the TB Bucs eat massive meat.

With Washington beating Philly, that puts Tampa back in the drivers seat, with 1/2 game lead, and Oakland at home while Philly plays at home vs Dallas.

Dallas holds the tie breaker, so we need Philly to hold serve at home and Chicago to go 1-1 vs GB @HOU....I like our chances.

The last 2 years you've been doing this...not the last 5 years...

Oh, you're just too new to the party, my Bucs-myopic amigo

I've been the Anti-Buc since mid season 2003.

oh man...if Bears lose tomorrow night it could set up BucFan for record breaking nausea when the Raidahs roll into the CITS next week and rush for over 200 yards while pulling the SU upset.

Now if the TB Bucs do make it into that sixth seed, it could bode well for Under bettors.

Outside of the three game playoff run in 2002-3 when Bucs won SUper Bowl, they've played in eight playoff games over the past decade.

In those eight, they're a meager 2-6 with an average score of

TB 10.3
OPP 18.3

For those seeking more detailed misery, the Bucs in those eight games scored a whopping six offensive TDs

Talk about overkill....I played my one and only NFL Teaser this weekend with OAK +19 and NO +9

Good lesson in how I could have played a 2TeamParlay with OAK +13 and NO +3.5 for much better payoff
