2-1 in Week 11 for +1.2 units
24-16 Overall now for +13.9 units

Three of the four lines just came out at Pinnacle. Very happy to lay under a FG in both so no need to wait. I pulled the trigger with these two already...

Argos -2.5... (risking 1.1 to win 1)

The Toronto Argonauts have bolstered their front lines in a big way by signing 2001 NFL first round draft pick and Super Bowl champion OT Kenyatta Walker, as well as 1996 first round NFL draft pick DL Duane Clemons. The Argonauts also announced the return of imports DL Daryl Whittington, DL Darrell Lee and DB Will Poole and welcome the arrival of imports DL Walter Curry, S/OLB Matt Hewitt, OT Brandon Joyce, and non-import OL Chris Van Zeyl- TSN

Lots of competiton for jobs in T-Dot and really this is a game they should win at home.

Stamps -2.5... (risking 2.6 to win 2.5)

2008 West hosting East

ATS... 6-1
ML... 7-0... +7 units

I'll bump this up when I add another play.

Good luck, may the winners be yours.

Love that Stamps pick.... let's hope all goes according to plan. Thanks for posting the Moreno trade... I was gonna lay it down on the Tabbies until they dealt IMO the best linebacker in the East.

ARGONAUTS REPLACE STUBLER WITH FORMER COACH MATTHEWS

One day after the Hamilton Tiger-Cats made a coaching change, their East Division rivals are ready to pull the plug on their head coach.
The Toronto Argonauts have called a news conference for 11:15 am this morning to make what the club calls "a major coaching announcement".
TSN has confirmed that Rich Stubler's tenure at the helm of the team is over and that Don Matthews will be brought in to try and right the ship.
Matthews is the CFL's all-time winningest coach with 251 victories. He also has five Grey Cup titles to his credit, two of them with Toronto in 1996 and 1997. He stepped down as the Alouettes head coach in October 2006 due to health reasons.
Stubler's future with the club appeared in jeopardy prior to the Labour Day matchup against rival Hamilton. However, the Argos managed to squeeze out a narrow 34-31 win to buy their embattled head coach some more time. Last weekend's 45-19 thrashing at the hands of division leading Montreal dropped the Argos to 4-6, just four points up on both Winnipeg and Hamilton in the East.

- Great move here. Stubler really did a terrible job right out of the gate handling the QB situation. He was an excellent defensive co-ordinator but disappointed as a head coach. Matthews has tons of CFL head coaching experience.

so...

I'll add another unit on T-Dot after this coaching change. New coach Angle should wake these guys up this week. i'm expecting a sense of urgency from both teams in this game but I'll def favour the home team with new coach

adding 1.1 units to win 1 on the Argos -2.5

Hmm... still don't know if Matthews is the right guy. I don't know how you can go wrong putting Pinball back in as coach... the guy is the greatest CFL personality of this generation. I absolutely hate the Argos, but I would take Pinball as my coach over any other coach... not to mention he is such a likeable guy.

I think they are better off with a guy who has won 6-7 grey cups.

Pinball doesn't wanna coach any more.

GL card you got going phil.....I think the lions are a good play this week.

I think the trade is official, although you never know in the CFL.

Moreno for Mace & 1st round pick in 2009.

I really like this deal for Winnipeg. Looks like they aren't giving up, despite being 3 games behind BC for the final spot. However, it's not totally hopeless when they play Hamilton, Edmonton and Toronto twice each in six of their last 8 games, and they only have to tie the 4th place team in the West to take the final playoff spot. Their best bet is probably to catch the 6-4 Eskimos who have IMO the toughest schedule of any team going down the stretch.

So many variables now in this Toronto/Winnipeg matchup...

GL with your bets Phil.

2-2 in Week 12 for -1.9 units
26-18 Overall now for +12 units

teaser bashers there you go... another example where I lost with BC ats but they covered on ymteaser.

I had an Over in a Montreal game earlier this seasosn that lost onthe regular total but covered the teaser. there was at least 1 other time where i was saved by teasing.

what the fuck do BC care if they win by 5 or 6? they care about winning the game and thats it. that's exactly why i hate laying a number and try to lay as low a number as possible to make it as close to ML as possible. i didn't want to lay the -220 with BC ML though

disappoiting week
