Montreal @ BC: historically teams play poorly after the bye in the CFL. I suspect the reason is that, as lower paid guys, the demands on them are not as high in the CFL as NFL during their time off. The league has balanced this a bit as bye teams are now facing bye teams. So that said, we have a team travelling to the west who are comfortably far ahead in their division. I suspect their focus will be less than sharp after a week off. They will be facing a desperate team that will be seeing this as a true statement game. While they may not be as sharp as backers would like they are not travelling across 3 time zones. I do not see either team as being as weak or as dominant as is being portrayed. I'll take BC ML and with the points, right now at 6.

Oh, this should be fun.

I was kind of down after the Bombers upped their record to 3-5 (hurting my U7.5 season total), but this news really puts a smile on my face.

Cops might as well just camp out in front of the few Winnipeg strip clubs that exist.

Thanks ice and Dr. T. I appreciate it. Nail biter at least on the ML bet.

Bit of an odd finish and both teams could have walked away from one another...just glad Als didn't score on their first march as the fragility of Lions might have showed up. But overall I thought Lions played harder than they had been on D and the time zone shift for Montreal, especially off a bye, is a killer.
