Just curious...
is there any use in posting CFL games here once the NFL begins? Its quiet now and there seems to be no more than 3-4 CFL guys here now. Does it just totally dry up after the big machine starts up.

It's pretty well quiet all the time. Since there's only a half-dozen or so regulars here anyway, I expect most or all of us will still make regular trips into this part of the forum.

Heck ya keep posting. I really value the info I get from you guys. I am also the only one who prefers the CFL to the NFL, so I will always be around here checking things, and will follow the league until the Grey Cup.

Actually you may not be the only one as far as preferences. After years of writing about and handicapping the NFL I'm very close to openly admitting that I enjoy the CFL better. Can't quite explain it, but the NFL hype, behavior, false drama and the continual commercials have taken their toll. I don't know, maybe the innocence of the CFL is appealing too. But Friday Night Football is more than rivalling the Sunday slate for me.

The majority of football gamblers are Americans. When NCAA and NFL begin, there are many options available. Naturally, money flows to where gamblers have personal interest in or believe they might profit.

FWIW...whenever I have an early CFL pick during NFL season I'll throw out my NFL early pick here as well. As I say FWIW. That NFL forum above looks like a zoo with too many weird guys for my liking...so I'll just stay here for now...appreciate it if any here have NFL thoughts to share mingled with their CFL thoughts.

I'd rather bet on the CFL then the NFL any day of the week. Much easier sport to cap seeing how there is about 7-8 games to base your statistics off.

Oh yeah, and I'm on the Alouettes (-5.5) tonight. Got the game capped 38-14 Montreal. Public is pushing the line on BC, not the sharps.

Good idea pat - no point in giving up the cfl betting - you dont get tagged for the exchange on the plays.

Agreed about the nfl forum - you keep this as the Canadian NFL forum

BOL this week

Actually I like to refer to the two forums the other way around, that being this is the Canadian CFL forum and that other one is the american CFL forum.
