If you're a constitutionalist this is bad news.
Double edge sword..No one should be silenced, either party.
These moves will only make both sides more pissed and further separates the public from big tech and the government (who are basically the same at this point)
Not good. Big tech has some answers due.
It's time to split the bigs up /Google would be Number 1 in my book.

I'm just hoping things don't erupt in violence but I'm doubting it.

Blame social media. The root problem of all of this is way too many people need attention. It’s all about attention. Every lick of SM is look at me look at me. That spiraled into a platform for a voice to be heard. And that lead to people realizing they can have control and humans live for $ fame attention!

Yeah Its a bad set up the way it looks..
Normally Progressive movements support free speech... Movements need free speech to mature, limiting Free speech is a huge red flag....
Ufff..I don't want it "Burnt Down" but things are oblong and I do see how this would piss off the right.

Free speech becomes the biggest issue here IMO..the election fell to second for me.

I've had a good handle on what I believe and it hasn't changed .

I'm not a party line person plus this is as fluid as any political situation we'll ever see I'd think.

hey boz you are dead on with this statement as we all know the adage "today it is trump and tomorrow it will be ......." if congress does not rally around reversing this abominable trend then this country will become a powder keg like we have never imagined. the democrats must take a stand alongside the gop to resolve this issue.

How do you split up a search engine or the apple store or a social media software app?

Never really understood that

Biden says he is willing to live with a two track agenda when he takes office. Getting his nominees confirmed and his program rolling and then on the other track an impeachment trial for Trump. They need to concentrate on the problems facing the country: Pelosi getting voted again as a Speaker of the House was a mistake. The censorship is another sign of what it is going to be like living in a one party republic. Instead of bringing the country together; they are going to tear it apart.

Trump could and should have done much more. He was tweeting about censorship for a while but did nothing until it was too late.
He really had a chance. He didn't even mention it in the debates as a big issue. Big mistake. No signs of it letting up under Democrats

Truth is free speech isn't a right issue though it is right now
70s and 80s and before that the right used to try to censor people under the guise of what is good for kids and family
At least that was somewhat understandable
They had more control then
It is about control
Once it is gained they don't want to lose it
The left in America has taken it to a whole new level claiming hate speech, intolerance, conspiracy theories. Just a new guise to censor and control

The idea there is censorship from big tech is lie

If anyone has ever felt like their voice was being censored, they could have jointed therxforum and said whatever they wanted to. Anyone who has not done that and tries to claim their voice is being censored is a liar.

Yeah.... I could go to the X-Files perv site and probably not be censored there too. Yay. lol You want to compare that to social media tech giants where everyone is at and who control what gets pushed out to search results to RX forum?

Even though you are a clown, I'll give you credit, the fact people still respond to you as if you aren't trolling is pretty funny.

You've had that his shtick and nothing else for what, 10 years on here? Can't be the best life but whatever, congrats on that.

This is a really great point. If you look at the biggest tech companies, twitter, Facebook, google, Apple, they are the government. Which is why they always put the needs of the government and government officials above the needs of the people, or even their own profits.
