2 games I'm playing today-Going with better teams-on the road! Lost another tough game yesterday bringing the Overall to 49-44 +1670. (5*plays 13-6). Here we go:

4 Units-Depaul-pk-over Northwestern-I really think the Blue Deamons are starting to play well together with a nice win at Notre Dame. With Greer and Deiner in the line-up they are a solid club. Northwestern has been playing people tough, but think they just don't have enough in the front-court to stop Quemont Greer, big day for him.

4 Units-UTEP-5 over New Mexico St.-Definately a play against the Aggies, UTEP at 5-2 is much better in both courts. Look for an uptempo game by the Miners and cruise to a nice win in the second half. Think they learned their lesson after getting *****-slapped by Texas Tech on the road! UTEP by 11.

Rumour flying around that Greer may have "academic" issues and will sit. Hoping to confirm this before tip.

Can't confirm Greer's status, may just be a **** rumour. The line flip over to NW may be because of the eligibility of Duke transfer(Mickey D all american) Thompson. Guy is an animal they say and may have an immediate impact on the team. Still think Depaul can gut out a tough win tonite, just not a play for me. GL

Greer Will Play

I see your uncertainty about Greer playing tonight. I am in Chicago and he was just interviewed (6:20 pm CT) by Brad Palmer on Channel 7 chicago in his practice uni's during walkthrough at the Northwestern gym. If he were not playing he would not be with the team in walk-throughs. He talked about the game tonight. I'd say that's proof he's playing.

The source of this bad information is probably a few websites that are still carrying the information about when Greer was suspended for academics at the beginning of the season. He became eligible when DePaul's first quarter ended. Some websites must be behind in their information. Too bad so many people pass along such out-of-date information. Hope this helps.

You're welcome. I've visited this site and got alot from you over the last few years. Though I usually post elsewhere, thought I owed you something for what I've gotten from you so I registered and posted the info as I knew it. I see others speculating about the line move. I suggest the line move is due to bettors digesting the fact that Northwestern has two new transfers starting tonight...Thompson at center, a McD A-A transfer from Duke, and Tim Doyle, a 6-5 swingman transfer from St. Johns. I believe those transfers were figured into the line, but bettors do react/overreact to stuff like that en masse. Good luck whatever you do.
