Has the guy ever made a big basket? Three minutes to go and Wallace is coming up huge and James is holding his dick - eventually, it is what is is - of the teams left - I would much rather have Billups, Wallace, Hamilton, Duncan, Manu, Parker or Williams with the ball in the last minutes than the alleged NBA superstar James.

James is what 22? You guys need to chill. Magic was called a choker early in his career too. 1984 game 7 against the Celts (already called a choker from past few years) he is dribbling the ball up late in the game very close score and just hands the ball to the Celts and DJ went the other way for a huge basket. James is too talented to be made fun of. This guy is a SICK player. Give him a few more years.

I know he's young - I know he is good - but this is his 4th year - he's basically a vet now - and his two comparisons - Wade and Mello make big shots and he does not - sure this could change but each night it seems to get more and more cemented - the Pistons are tough and that's a factor - I watched Duncan struggle with the Pistons defense.

Ok, good points but remember James is a complete player. He does it all for that team and it is all on his shoulders. Wade has Shaq and is more of a scorer. Anthony is also more of a scorer and is a great player but I would take James over him. James is better. No question you are right that he has to finish better...he will.

That's kind of misleading... Magic won a championship his rookie year. He played center when Karem got hurt and scored 40+ points 10 + rebounds and won the finals MVP... In 1982 he won his second championship and was finals MVP again... In his 4th year they lost in the finals b/c Worthy and Macdoo were injured...

He was disliked early on b/c in his third year he demanded a trade and got Westhead fired...

He only choked in 1 series and that was 84 loss to the celtics but he had 2 championships and 2 championship MVP's before that... So it was apparent he knew how to win the big games... He got them back in 85...

You guys are nuts.

Micheal Jordan was on a 60 loss team when he was 22. He was not even thinking playoffs at this age, much less NBA finals.

The pass he made the other night was perfect basketball. There was not a damm thing wrong with that.

Saying that they would have called a foul on that play on the road in a game that he shot 0 free throws that night is crazy. They would not have called a foul even if they mugged him.

It was a perfect pass to a wide open player who was hot, giving the road team dog a chance to win the game against heavy favorities. Thats called basketball.

And he knows more about the game of basketball at 22 then Jordan did.

Enough of this nonsense.

Magic had all sorts of help in winning. James has very little help. Cannot compare. He also choked when they lost to Houston in that series they got eliminated 1980-1981 (If memory serves he threw up a 7 foot airball during crunch time). He choked more than that 84 series when he choked big time. That happens though. True he had that big game as a rookie. Do not tell me about an injury...Magic had more talent than anyone could dream of. Look Magic is one of the greatest in history but he choked early on a few times and was lucky to have some SERIOUS TALENT including multiple top 50 all time NBA players. Jamess does not play with ANY top 200 alltime players.

I think he has a killer instinct - or at least tries to - I just don't think he can come up big late in the game - in both game in the last 5 minutes he was a non factor.

Sloppy game, 90% of the game was boring.
I miss the Majic/Kareem - Bird/Parish wars of old.
You scored over 100 and lost, now a days you can win 2 straight without scoring 80.

Just watch SA - they are the best defensive team of the last 10 years and put up 100 a night.

It's a lot harder to hit game-winners when you have no confidence in your J...and rightfully so, when it's mediocre at best.

That's the difference between Lebron and Wade, 'Melo, Arenas, etc etc etc

I'd rather have fucking Sasha Pavlovic taking the last shot than Lebron. You simply cannot rely on the ref to blow his whistle at the end of a game, bottom line.

He did not choke in 81. He had a knee injury and played like 1/4 of the games in the regular season or something... They lost in the first round to Houston but he was coming back from major knee injury...

He won 2 championships in the first 2 full season he played and got 2 finals MVP's. Not just a big game but big series... I don't know how a guy who won 2 finals MVPs in his first 3 years of playing can be know as a choker early in his career...

The only time he choked was the 1 year against the celts when they called him Tragic Johnson... But he made them eat that doodoo the next year...

Wade doesnt have the best J either thats why he has the best killer instict of anyone in the game right now and will take it to the hole in key situations... his J is getting better though... best player in the game right now

I do, (they are the only exception) ain't nobody beating the Spurs this year.
Cleveland or Detroit would have been bounced already if they were in the west.
That game was so bad tonight I switched to the WPT on ESPN.

Uh, I don't think I've seen Wade miss a J in crunchtime since he's entered the league.

And now he's learned how to use the bank as well.

His J is head and shoulders better than Lebron's.

I have no idea what you're talking about. You don't see Wade win games at the FT line; you see him win games with J's off the bounce.

I'm done.

The difference is Jordan was up against the 76ers, Celtics, Bucks, just the most stacked eastern conference while Lebron is going against the worst Eastern conference in history.
