I just wrote this up in my thread, so I'll throw it in here for whatever it's worth...just my 2 cents!
Houston has been playing well having won their last 4 straight, and 8 of their last 10..although Cleveland has played extremely well at home this year (13-0), this will probably be the best team that they have faced all year long...It will be a "statement game" for the Cavs and whether they rise to the challenge or get swallowed up by it remains to be seen..The Cavs have come a long way since last season and have already proved a great deal to the fans around the league..what they have not proven yet, however, is whether or not they are able to consistently manhandle the "good" teams in the league the same way they have manhandled the bad teams..Houston is on a back to back which should play into the favor of Cavs backers, but the Rockets coasted last night against the Nets and their star players averaged about 30 minutes a piece and should be rested for tonights game...7.5 points is too many, considering the matchup, and until Cavs prove they can consistently destroy the good teams around the league the same way they have the bad ones, I will take my chances when they play solid opponents, and oddsmakers give us such a high number to work with...
Hope this helps,
GL with whatever u decide Nervous!
