On Bookmaker, the Cavs are -105 to win the "2009 NBA Eastern Conference". I thought this to good to be true so I asked them on livechat to confirm it was for the regular season, not the playoffs and they confirmed that it was for the "regular season conference".

What am I missing here?

The Cavs have a record of 62-15. Celtics are 58-19 (4 games back) and Orlando is 57-20 (5 games back).

Cavs have 5 games left:
vs. Washington
@ Philadelphia
vs. Boston
@ Indiana
vs. Philadelphia

Celtics have 5 games left:
vs. New Jersey
vs. Miami
@ Cleveland
@Philadelphia
vs. Washington

Orlando has 5 games left:
vs. Memphis
vs. NY Knicks
@ NJ Nets
@ Milwaukee
vs. Charlotte.

Isn't this pretty close to a lock, even if Boston beats the Cavs in Cleveland?

That's what I thought, so I asked them over livechat:

me: I have a question about the current NBA futures
CS - Juan: Yes
me: for the Cleveland Cavaliers, it has -105 to win the "2009 NBA eastern conference"
me: is that to win the regular season, or to make the NBA finals?
CS - Juan: One moment please, I will be with you shortly.
CS - Juan: Just the conference regualr season sir
me: so it ends after the 82 game regular season?
CS - Juan: YEs
me: thank you

Just called them and it seems as if "Juan" made a mistake and it was indeed for the playoffs as I originally thought. They allowed me to cancel my wager however.

 Top notch support staff they got goin there.

Nice 10 minute, heated argument with their customer service. The guy at first tried convincing me that "so it ends after the 82 game regular season? Yes" meant that it included the playoffs.

After a little cursing I finally just asked them to cancel my wager and be done with it. Then he gives me a little attitude about how once a wager is made, it's final and they don't cancel wagers. He had a hard time understanding that I made the wager based on false information from customer service, but finally gave in and cancelled it.

First time I've had a problem with Bookmaker.
