Essentially, it's almost like a Mensa puzzle:
What comes next in this sequence of American idol winners?
White girl, black man, black girl....
A. White man B. White girl
Stupid analogy but it's interesting as both sides will be crying foul whatever happens on Wednesday night (although at this stage, Bo Bice fans will probably get really annoyed if Carrie wins).
....it's almost like Clay Aiken versus Ruben Studdard.
You either believe the hype or you don't. For a 50/50 shot, plus money for Carrie Underwood is pretty good although don't let your subjectivism overcame your objectivism.
If Bo Bice wins, the polls were right as was the late support.
If Carrie Underwood wins, the polls were wrong and she was a favourite throughout the most of the series until the very end where she'll have overcome a late surge of support for Bo.
....one of these people have to win but frankly, I couldn't give a damn.
Bo Bice fits the pattern, Carrie Underwood only has a tinge of 'she'll appeal to the country music market' about her.
Ruben Studdard didn't sell more records than Clay Aiken so you can probably try and rule out any ideas of foul play (even if Simon Cowell and 19 Entertainment are ever so untrustworthy).
