So I got to see alot of the capitals recently there was a stretch there they were on my TV every other night for a week. They are a solid looking team - talented in every position and relentless in straight lines. I like a team that goes straight at the net and attacks. But I am not sold on these guys - No play off success for Ovi or Trotz, they have backed off on Holtby a bit and the team could be coasting.
They have not won by the puck line in over a month, that's a stretch of 13 games
Carolina on the other hand is now 5 games back of Detroit for the WC - They have picked up points in each of their last 5 games, going 5-0 vs the +1.5. H2H with the Caps they are 5-2 vs the +1.5 the last 3 seasons.
Carolina is 38-11 as +1.5 under dog this year.

Yes to OT +275 .5* <------ Not a lot of history here only 20% H2H.....but 7 of the last 8 games these two have played have gone to OT
