One of the touts on a local morning radio show said the wrong team was favored in this one. I strongly disagree! Not only did the Aggies lose to Arkansas State at home, they gave up 255 yds of rushing. Texas A&M then beat Los Lobos of New Mexico by 6 on the road but again gave up 216 yds of rushing. We should win on that stat alone (I don't care that James is hurt). Never mind the fact that the Aggies have a new coach (the Shermanator) and new offense (pro-set). The Aggie's offense only had 303 total offensive yards and FOUR turnovers against Ark St and 236 total offensive yards and one turnover against Los Lobos. The Canes gave up 126 total yds to Charleston Southern and 345 to the Gators... many of which were in the 4th. I don't see how the Aggies score on the Canes and I don't see how the Canes don't rush for at least 200+ yds... which should open up the passing lanes for the young Miami QB and WRs. Does the 12th man scare me? A little bit... but we walked out of the swamp with our heads held high. I am laying the points w/ the Canes offensive line and stout defense.
Again, I'm a homer! I respect A&M but dont think they have enough for Sat. Good luck all!
Miami -3.5
