There was a thread before the season started asking for bold predictions...I believe you will find a lot of the posters here mentioned the Padres as one of the teams with the most upside

this is no shock to me

the day after t-giving i was in vegas and got the pads @ 35-1 to go to the WS and 75-1 to win the WS.

i might not win this bet - but right now - i think EVERYONE would kill to get the padres at those prices.

GL Winky, I remember when they started playing great ball this time last year, after making the trade with the Pirates, and you could sense that they were coming together towards this year, then when Kevin Towers was on Jim Rome this spring, he sounded very confident & positive with Wells aboard and Hoffman coming back..this year's Marlins in NL?
