I can remember when Pin was getting bashed all over this and several other forums. I had been playing withthem for awhile with no problems. But i remember quite a few of the "sharper" more respected guys say this..."why would you play at Pinnacle when you have places like Aces Gold and Canbet to play at?" Other books were mentioned as well. Grande was one, as was Oly and Cris. But it is all reletive to time and space I guess.
Pinnalce used to be a joke book, and that was just a little over 2 years ago. Pretty amazing how EVERYONE now thinks they are the second coming or something. My opinion has remained the same. They are a book, and they gamble enough to make playing them against themselves and/or other books a pretty profitable angle. Nothing more nothing less.
Are they the first line I check, YES. But only becuase they are usally up first or close to it, and are generally opiniated enough to be off the norm to make it advantageous to bet with or against their opinion. because they will almost always force others to move one way or the other, and generally enough to make playing the other way an option.
