I am a Miami Heat fan however have not followed them as closely since I have moved to another state. I know there are some Miami Heat experts on here so I would love to hear your opinions.

Pro Detroit: I have never seem a team as banged up as Miami. Every one of their starters is hurting. Detroit are the champs and play tenacious D. The Heat are the better team healthy however they are so darn banged up, I cannot see them winning this on one leg.

Pro Miami: The odds are in their favor going up 3-2. 84% win after winning Game 5. Miami is home for Game 7. It seems once a team wins the public jumps on and the opposing team ends up winning. People seem to be on Detroit now.

I know this is very superficial but maybe some of you NBA experts and specifically Heat and Pistons experts can chime in.

Yes Miami can win. Will they win is another question. I firmly believe that the Heat are the better team. However, they are all banged up. Eddie Jones has two bum ankles, Udonis Haslem has a broken finger, Shaq is 50% at best with his thigh bruise, and D Wade's status is up in the air due to a strained rib muscle. There is really no way to cap this game for tomorrow being that Wade's health is in question. I would be shocked if he did not play. I think he will play, but it is impossible to gauge how effective he will be. This game is a complete tossup. Anyone who tells you otherwise is wrong in my opinion. If Wade can be effective, I think the Heat win. If he is not effective, I think the Pistons have the advantage. Either way, I look for a huge game from Shaq. It should be a classic. Less than 24 hours away!

Detroit should easily win this game tomorrow, but which series will CASH is what you need to look at. Miami San Anto, will go further than a San/Det series, and SHAQ versus DUNCAN is better than Duncan versus Big Ben

Healthier better team right now or Home Cooking Fixer style

This is the question to ponder

All I know is Miami gave up in the 3rd quarter of last game. It was a disgrace of an effort, chucking 3 pointers left and right with 8 mins left in the 3rd, they were completely discouraged, werent getting up and down the floor and completely quit.

Wade is one of the best players in the NBA because he is just that extra step faster than the defender. If he doesnt have that extra step of quickness and is limited from the rib injury, he becomes average. His ability to create shots is what makes him so great, and I think he'll have a hard time creating even if he plays.

The NBA has clearly done all they can with the refs to "assist" the team they wanted to win each game to make this a 7 game series. Never seen more questionable calls in my life. I'm not sure if tomorrows game is called fairly or not.

Between the Heat's injuries (Shaq on one leg, Udonis with 2 dislocated fingers, Eddie Jones' ankles and 6 stitches in his upper eye, Wades ribs, and Damon Jones' bum heel that requires a foot cast after every game), the refs, the home court advantage, the discouraging way Miami lost last game, I think the only thing in Miami's favor is home court advantage and referees.

I think if Miami played Detroit tough, and lost by a few, Miami wins tomorrow. But the fact that they just got blown out, I cant see the Heat coming out tomorrow and just clicking like it never even happened, especially considering not even they are sure if Wade will play or not. They arent sure what game plan to execute right up until tip off.

This ones tough to cap but I'm thinking Detroit at this point.

Can Miami win? Of course they can. The only thing I see in their favor is that they are home. They are the better team when healthy but this is not 1 player that is hurt or out this is their whole starting line up.

Really the only thing keeping me off Detroit ML is that once the public gets down on a team during this series that same time comes back and wins. People are down on Miami now. In fact, I do not see how they can win this (which actually makes me question the pick even more).

I would love it if Miami won but I just don't see it. I do expect Shaq to have a huge game but I do not think it will be enough if Wade (who is definitely the X factor here) is not healthy.

Box,

Dont give up on our Heat buddy. Expect a huge huge game from Shaq and Wade will hopefully have a decent effort. We just need one guy to step up big, either Damon, Eddie, Rasual, or Keyon. Should be a classic.

It will be a difficult task for the Heat to win this game if Wade is not 100 % which we know he will not be. Even if he is 100%, it will be no easy task for the Pistons are the Champs for a reason. The stat about home teams winning game 7 is irrelevant to this game because it does not take into consideration that your star player and leading scorer is not healthy. Also, think about the Pistons huge mental edge they have over Miami knowing that they just crushed them by almost 30 points. Even with an 80% Wade, I see the Pistons winning this one outright.
