Can anyone recommend a cardiologist ???

I'm in Escazu but that's not really important. Some English would be a plus. Has anyone had experience with heart care in Costa Rica? Thanks in advance.

It might be expensive for CR standards but easiest thing you can do is go to CIMA, it will probably be much cheaper than what you are used to pay for the same in the US. Doctors @ CIMA should speak english and that's quite important when you are talking to a doctor

I PERSONALLY don't go to either CIMA or Clinica Biblica, closest thing to me is Clinica Catolica which is just fine, my wife had a problem last year and the attention there was very good and had equipment that is not so common here, that is the CAT scan machine etc

Problem is, NOT all doctors there speak English and also its quite far away from Escazu

Cima is expensive by CR standards but cheap by US standards. The hospital, equipment, doctors and care you receive at Cima is up to US standards. In your case I would say it is definately worth it.
