I am curious to know if somehow books could show the rest of the members who are online also. A numbers count not a names count. This might interest more people to play or join that book. In some ways in some books players can tell how many members there really are just by playing in a contest such as Sportsbetting.com contests. Everyone gets ranked so by that you know how many there are. I had seen up to 5,000 members in one contest alone. Could there be even more or less members on there site. I would say less because some people just go there and participate in their contests and not being a member or have an account until they win something.

I guess the answer is no because noone is answering at least no book is answering.

Have,

Yes, we can tell how many of our players are online and on the phone. Our software allows us to see the players on call and our tech team can check in the back for the number of players online. However, we cannot tell which players are online, just the ones that are on the phone with our clerks. I hope that answers your question.

Some software can track this, active players, etc. However, you are unlikely to find any book advertising this info. All the books want to make themselves appear bigger than they are. Also, this information would probably be useful to competitors.

I knew a book with over 30,000 players in their database, but less than 2000 active players per week during the peak of football season. Many players had signed up for free promotions or had multiple accounts. You can never go by the size of the database itself.

I know the poker sites have something thats called pokerpulse.com that tracks the activity. Doubtful, books would want to release any of this info, however.
