While I was reponding to a separate "Vegas" thread I strange thought crossed my mind.

I realized I'm headed to Vegas next month for a bachelor party. Now don't get me wrong a weekend away from the lady and hangin w/ the fellas is always a great thought. You know the whole "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" blurb? Anyhow while I was thinkin about the trip, it dawned on me that I actually have a better time when I go out there with my fiance! Yeah i know, i know, call me crazy. But seriously, I would much rather spend a weekend out there with her since the experience is much more satisfying and maybe a little more mature, I suppose. Personally, I or most times "we" make it out to Vegas atleast 3 times a year. We both love to gamble which is a great thing. And the fact that she can keep our bank accounts in check is even better. But the very thought of enjoying a trip out there with her instead of the guys actually surprised me. Interestingly the pros weighed out the cons in comparison. After getting past all the preliminary plans such as partying till my kidney's fail and spending a few hundred at the Crazy Horse or Rum Jungle, I started to think about the cons on the trip. (Crowded funky rooms, always arguing about what to do next cause some of the guys went broke too early, etc, etc). Then I campared that to all my previous trips with my lady and it seemed much more reasonable. (Gamble and enjoy hot streaks together, splurge on great food, see a show, contemplate on real estate, spend a few hours at the sports book while she's at the spa or shopping)

Maybe it's just late here on the westcoast and my minds' just wandering. How can spending a weekend in Sin City of all friggen places with my fiance be better than hangin with the fellas out there? :icon_conf

Who knows maybe this'll all change after I pass a few years of marriage n kids. LOL

I agree somewhat....

My gf is the coolest chick, great to hang out with, loves gambling, easy-going...Going on vacation with her is always a good time....

BUT.................

It is hard to get my GF to dress up in a clown suit and let me do lines off her jugs..A couple hundred dollars in Vegas and that dream is achieved..You can do things that you cant normally do at home in your city or with your chick...

WHatever you decide, Have a good time..Congrats on the wedding...

Just trying to say that in VEGAS, I can do things that I wouldnt want to do with my chick...lol

i do that Anthony. I like takin the woman, cause last time i had to spend too much time drinkin and lookin for hoes instead of gambling. Bring her and the pu$$y is always there. And its good if you want to go eat at a nice restaurant instead of food courts and buffets all the time.
