and one of the first plays i see:

a DB, in coverage, accidentally runs into a ref knocking the ref down.

the referees call a 25 yard penalty for Physical Abuse of an Official and eject the player from the game!?! this league is a joke, confirmed.

several replays being shown and its 100% unintentional. hey Canada, this is FOOTBALL! lmao

the piling on i think was legit.

but it is a shame that this is the type of attention our league seems to always get from americans or first time viewers. the refs have long been a low point of the league and it takes the view off what so far has been a great season of plays.

no one is talking about nik lewis' hurdle or wes cates' play so far, just two ref calls. it hurts our leagues credibility big time.

i agree 100% about the refs. unfortunate in this big of a game they have chosen to make themselves the story so far.

So this is the first time you've watched a CFL game, you happen to see a bad call, and you think you have the right to judge? Get the F out.

Thanks for telling me our league is a joke. I was lost without your input.

I love the CFL, but that was one of the worst calls I've ever seen and might have won Sask the game because he was also Calgary's best player defensively.

It was a bad game to watch in general last night, not just because of the fans. BC/Edmonton was a good one. I'm sure if you watched that game you'd feel a little different.

TORONTO - The Canadian Football League announced today that it has conducted a supplementary review of a player ejection made during last night's game between the Calgary Stampeders and the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Calgary. During the game, Calgary linebacker JoJuan Armour was ejected from the game for making contact with a CFL official during the course of play. Upon review of video footage, it was determined that the contact between Mr. Armour and the official directly resulted from prior contact between Mr. Armour and a Saskatchewan Roughrider player. The ejection of the player was unwarranted. CFL Director of Officiating Tom Higgins stated, "We sincerely regret that this officiating error was made and cost Mr. Armour the opportunity to play during last night's game. Our officials are professionals and do a tremendous job, but when a call is missed we take it very seriously and have an internal review system to deal with it appropriately".

Mr. Armour will be eligible to play in this week's rematch between Calgary and Saskatchewan in Regina on Thursday.
