All the speed in this race might set things up for KILLING FROST to score at 6-1 or better. She's at her preferred distance and is making her 3rd start since coming off the shelf. Gets Lopez and should be flying at the wire.

I'm going to try and beat CAPROCK here with PORTIA PICNIC. Ritvo's gelding looks to be ready to move forward and will complete the double for Lopez.

I think the the leader out of the gate will wire 'em here - so why not EL SEGUNDO JOE? I'll cross my fingers that Cecelio has him running early and hope TEXAS RED takes a lot of action from the public to help our price.

I'm glad this race is off the grass because it allows one of my favorite trainers, Luis Olivares, to visit the winner circle with TALENTED PRINCE. This guy really is talented sporting 6 straight in the money on the Calder dirt.

I'll throw out the last for VARADERO as he was in a tough field (for him) and got caught wide early. Has the speed to be forwardly placed here and could surprise the chalk.

Although I have just recently started playing Calder again, I do remember the success Tortora had with babies. LIL DIAZO is a son of Mecke with a steady worktab and debuts with lasix. All the money will be on the 3 outside colts so we'll get a more than fair price.

??? how did you miss this superfecta in race 7? you nailed this race and its a $19 horse on top, tri, super was right there. I dont get your ticket you keyed your two favorite choices first and third? not first and second? great handicapping on this race and great prices.
