I have never seen any team control the ball for 18 min. in a half with only 83 yards total offense. Strategy is to keep USC's offense off the field... Sanchez is looking fine but he gets no time with Cal's O on the field for so long.... with 83 yards total offense.

:monsters-

Refs are all over USC's ass with mucho penalties too.

Couldn't be less impressed with USC. Cal is a nothing team that Texas, Okl, Florida, TT would beat by 5 TDs at home

USC is nothing special on offense. Id like to see them face a team like Georgia and see if their defense can stop them.

No comment on the SC touchdown that was dropped but counted any way?

Oops, there's a TD for Call with a phantom call for "illegal man down field" when there was no man down field.

In all seriousness, what do you expect? Do you think for 1 second the Pac-10 would allow USC to lose this game no matter what happens on the field. With most of the country not even seeing their game, the avg folk doesn't realize the crime that goes on during their home games

I'm ambivalent. I bet Cal +21.5 because their defense is underrated. And don't forget that since Tedford took over there, Cal's been the biggest thorn in Carroll's side. The last 2 years doesn't tell the whole story.

Personally I'd like to see Cal go down so the Beavers will have a beaten up demoralized opponent (Cal) next week. I think OSU is more deserving of the Rose Bowl but they have to win out.

Hardly a thorn. No road wins. Tedford has never won a big road game or bowl game in his tenure at Cal. Maryland made Cal look pathetic. Any of the top 5 teams in the country would beat Cal by 4-5 Tds on their home fields

Im in Texas right now, and the game isn't even on the airwaves here AT ALL. Shows you why this abortion of a conference doesn't get a sliver of respect. Im getting updates. Sorry!

Don't try to change the subject. My comment was about USC and the fact that Cal has come closer to dethroning them than anyone else.... and their defense is putting out in this game too in case you haven't noticed.

You may not like Tedford but I proved to you that he was one of Bill Walsh's favorite understudies. He'd be a top HC in many conferences but his biggest problem is where he landed for his first HC job. Admit it, how many HC's in this country have had problems getting decent facilities for their players to train because of tree huggers?

It's nice to know that whenever USC gives up a TD at home (a la the Ohio State game) when the game is still in doubt, they can turn around and always find a yellow hankie on the field. Mike Riley has been far more a thorn than Tedford's 1 OT win. As I say every time, the next big game Tedford wins will be his first at Cal.

This game is horrible! I am a dumb ass that bought into the USC hype! I thought they would be good for 35+ points in this one so I played the over. What a stupid play that was!

No argument about Riley lately. Next year the Beavers will have some experienced players. This year 12 of them never started a game before this season. They are the most improved team in the conference since opening day. Credit the coaching staff. Not a single player was better than a 3* recruit too. Many weren't even rated. I'm hoping their success gets them a few recruits that would have attended USC.

Nice job changing the subject when I shot down your points. Nice technique

I didn't intentionally change the subject. I ignored the conspiracy points because you are an embarrassment.

I'm not a whormoan fan but he's right. USC is nothing special this year. Remind me Penn State this year.....we'll see I guess.
