Anyone else liking BYU tonight? At +2.5 now.

The way i see it; BYU is a better team in a better conference. Think Valpo could freeze under the bright lights of MSG, whereas BYU is used to playing in bigger atmospheres. Kyle Collinsworth is the best player on the floor and is 100% after battling the flu in the Creighton win. Valpo is bigger with Peters and Fernandez but think itll be tough for them to keep up scoring

BYU played a tougher schedule by far, and have a lot of mature, seasoned vets, let likely to be rattled, more likely to stay focused.
To boot, Valpo coach Drew is VERY possibly leaving for another school... maybe even right after this game if they lose, and the kids might know it.

Don't see Valpo freezing up under the bright lights of MSG. They just handled a St. Marys team that split with BYU and only lost to Oregon, on the road by, six points. Valpo has a much better defense ranking in the top ten in both scoring defense and field goal percentage ... also a better rebounding team.

Again... Valpo coach Drew is very possibly ready to sign with SLU or Vanderbilt. He makes $ 300K now, $ 1.5M is waiting for him, bigger conferences, all of that.
If the kids know it might really hurt their approach to the game. Lame duck coaches in this situation... win for the coach or are they bummed out?
