Taking OU Under 68, as I think OU is going to be one of the top defensive teams in the country. Their stats may not reflect similiarly to Florida because of the conference they play in, but I do believe that OU will be very effective on the D.

As for the Offense, I think they hit their stride around the 1st week of October. I don't expect to see the same amount of scoring as you did from them last year, at least not early on. I expect to see a little bit more running of the ball in the first weeks and look for them to knock of the Cougs by about 38-17 type of score.

As for the Cougs, I really don't see them being able to move the ball that much vs OU. I believe they get about 10 real points and the 7 additional comes in garbage time. BYU won't necessarily be able to stop OU, but I think they will get a couple of stops and keep it close for about the 1st 20 minutes and then from there I expect OU to put the hammer on them. i just think BYU has lost way to much on offense to be effective against a team with better athletes and better talent that returns a lot more defensively than they do offensively.

even your prediction score is less than 2tds, if your leaning on it to be that close with two well above average qbs, taking the under is a huge sweat imo. love over here, but gl as one of us is sure to win lol.

This game won't be close. But I'm still trying to figure out how BYU is going to score with a rebuilt OL going up against one of the best defensive lines in the nation. It takes two teams to reach this high of a total. Just my two cents.

GS, I don't see where you're getting your confidence from? Did you see the 2 deep that Stoops announced today? The starting center is a reserve tight end? I just don't know why Sooner fans are so confident in the offense?

jb..I'm very confident of this offense. The OL line won't be quite as good as last season, but they all have playing experience the last two years and Trent Williams will be a top 10 selection in the NFL draft. Eldridge will be fine at center. He's been there for 3 weeks and is doing very well and is intrenched in the position. And he loves his new assingnment. I'm starting to feel pretty good about OU. And that's not just the homer in me talking. Look for some new plays from OC Wilson on Saturday!

I'll take your word for it then. I'm staying away from this game altogether.
