Merly Garcia. At this meeting, <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> was informed that MinAmb was instructed by the Government to reconsider issuance of the Las Cristinas Environmental Permit to Affect Natural Resources (the "Permit") by discussing with <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> possible modifications of the Las Cristinas project, which could enable the Permit to be issued. The modifications suggested by the MinAmb representatives fall within three main categories: (i) further optimising the social projects in the area, (ii) mitigating the impact of open vein deposit mining in the currently affected areas of the Imataca, and (iii) improving the remediation plans at the end of the mine life as well as to remediate the existing environmental damage caused by the illegal miners who have worked in the area. The MinAmb representatives stressed the importance of expediting the submission of details relating to the suggested request for modifications in order to enable prompt resolution of the Permit.
In addition, <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> has received the official minutes of the meeting held at the Permanent Committee for the Economic Development of the National Assembly at the public hearing held on <chron>June 4, 2008</chron> to discuss the delay of the Las Cristinas project. At the meeting, representatives of the <org>Ministry of Mines</org> ("MIBAM") confirmed support for <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> and its compliance with all procedural and administrative steps up to the denial of the permit by MinAmb. The resolution issued by the Committee states that the Las Cristinas project has been in development for a significant period of time with the support of different branches of the Government. The resolution further notes a lack of coordination between the various Government branches, which it suggests should be resolved in light of the macroeconomic policies and goals of <location value="LC/ve" idsrc="xmltag.org">Venezuela</location>, as well as the social needs of the people and the pre-existing environmental damage.
It is too early for <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> to forecast how this issue will be resolved, but it is encouraged by the support from the Venezuelan Government and National Assembly. <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> welcomes the opportunity offered by MinAmb to help create additional solutions to the extensive environmental damage that already exists due to illegal mining in the Las Cristinas area, and to improve the project in order to respond to issues raised by MinAmb.

great action today as permit gets closer!!

Great news today. Action is great too. Were up about 10% so far today. When permit is announced stock will dramatically jump. Keep an eye on this stock. Up to 87 cents now opened at 80 cents. Permit is close!!

How long has this permit saga been going on for? Hasn't it been like 3-4 years? I may be mixing this up with someone else though.

It's been about 3 years, but the crazy part is that they've been exploring that gold site for 15 years. The permit is such a big event for this company that when it comes trading will be halted.
I'm telling you this stock has short term potential to get in the 5-6 dollar range if not higher.
The stock has been as high as 6 dollars without permit, imagine what it will be worth with the permit. They can finally get the gold out of the ground. There is over 17 million ounces of gold in the ground! That's huge! Stocks at 91 cents now!

Let me explain why you should hold. This company is on the verge of receiving their mining permit for gold. Gold is on the verge of breaking out as we speak. In addition, I've got some intel and my intel says that the permit is coming very soon. This stock could pop to over 4 dollars within a couple of months.

Hold on. Don't sell yet, just be patient and don't worry if we dip tomorrow. The big money is when the permit is announced. They will halt trading when the announcement is forthcoming. I'll keep updating this board regarding more news.

Update on permit

Press release issued today in short letting Kry know that they have complied with all of the requirements. Permit is imminent!

Today we had a run up to 1.38. Yesterday you recall we opened at 85 cents and closed at 1.19; profit taking has brought it down to as low as a dollar but we are back to about 1.10 now. As soon as official announcement of permit this stock will soar!! We are very close to announcement!

Although the letter from MinAmb does not formally address the Appeal procedure initiated by <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> in May, 2008, <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> has been advised by Venezuelan Counsel that in practical terms this letter supersedes the effects and position of the April, 2008 letter from a Director General in MinAmb denying the request by the Corporacion Venezolana de Guayana ("CVG") for the issuance of the Permit for the Las Cristinas gold project.
Background
On <chron>April 30, 2008</chron><org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> reported that it was advised of a letter from a Director General in MinAmb denying the CVG request for the issue of the Las Cristinas Environmental Permit. On <chron>May 12, 2008</chron>, <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> submitted a formal rebuttal of the Permit denial letter to the Director General and on <chron>June 17, 2008</chron>, submitted an appeal directly to the Minister of MinAmb.
On <chron>June 24, 2008</chron>, <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> was invited to a meeting attended by representatives of MinAmb including the Vice-Minister. At the meeting, <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> was informed that the Vice-Minister and MinAmb had been instructed by the Government of <location value="LC/ve" idsrc="xmltag.org">Venezuela</location> to reconsider the issuance of the Las Cristinas Permit. To that end, discussions with <org value="AMEX:KRY" idsrc="xmltag.org">Crystallex</org> for possible modifications to the Las Cristinas Project to diminish the environmental impacts of the project and thus enable the Permit to be issued began. The modifications suggested by the MinAmb representative fell within three main categories:
- Further improvements to optimising the social projects in the area.
- Mitigating the impact of open-vein mining in the currently affected areas of the Imataca Forest Reserve.
- Improving the remediation plans at the end of the mine life as well as repairing existing environmental damage caused by illegal mining.
The Company prepared a report which addressed these three areas and which was submitted to MinAmb earlier this month. In addition, as a part of the process towards the issuance of the Permit on <chron>August 7th</chron> and 8th, 2008, a team from MinAmb led by the Vice-Minister completed a site visit of the Las Cristinas Project. As part of this visit, the team inspected the social projects including the medical clinic and sewage treatment facility which are both currently under construction.

Commenting on the letter, Mr.

Basically the weak retail hands are selling off. People in the know like myself and the institutions are scooping up shares when the stock trends down.

I'm buying more shares tomorrow. I believe tomorrow will be another green day with great volume. Here's a great chance to buy before the stock gets its permit.

The permit is close I just can't say exactly when it's coming. Just hang on because when the permit comes trust me the stock will fly high, that I will guarantee you!!

Opened at $1.14 currently at $1.27. Went as high as $1.40.
