his inauguration. Bush should be sworn in without all the bullsh!t. It's a complete waste of money. We are at war and should focus on the war and ending it. Not meeting for a meaningless social event.

Game - I gotta disagree - the Inaugural is a ceremony that oversees the passing from one executive officer to another of the reigns of our government - it's happened some 54 times since the birth of our nation, from Federalist and Whig to Republican and Democrat the reigns have always been peacfully passed and the transition has been a success. It helps to define us and our government.

I pray to God that this particular transition ceremony will happen another 254 times.

BB,

We'll have to agree to disagree here, it's a silly social and means very little for a returning President. The millions could be spent on something more productive. I'm sick of all politicians blowing our money like it grows on trees. I'm not happy at all with Bush writing blank checks to warlords either. We all know who the President is, there is no need for the silly show. It would be a good time for the republicans to show they are not spendaholics. They are spending like crazy worse than Clintoon and it has to stop.

It is apparently the age of symbolism. We lower Americans flags for events which occur thousands of miles away from our country to symbolise American mourning. The press and hollywood type libs simply force this. Fancy balls like the Bush bash coming up is downright wasteful. She's got big ball, hes got big balls but I've, got the biggest balls of them all!:suomi:

Nice to see you quit hitting the snooze bar and finally got out of bed. The rest of us have seen that spending frenzy for a number of years now.

You helped vote the jerk in, now you're stuck with Dubya-on-the-loose-with-the-US-credit-card-for-three-more-years.......congratulations.

Party on, Mr. Bush!

Yeh right Marco,

Michael Moron will be at the Bush Balls with his cameras rolling so he can't make up some more BS about Bush. Hollywood types will recreate the event into a Halliburton under the table deal. Libs suck that crap up and the stupids believe it.

Marco,

I knew the spending was out of control. Kerry was proposing even more spending than Bush. Come on now I said Bush was going to give me about 20% and Kerry would give me 0. The heavy spending I've always been against.

I don't believe moroon should make a stupid film exploiting the event, but come on the spending is out of control and we are at war. Bush is a returning President and it's a complete waste of millions more. I'd cancel the inauguration, I'd put a stop payment on the 350,000,000 to the warlords. I'd send MREs, tents, blankets, medicine, water and ZERO cash.

In a perfect world, I would too. LOL

I can see it in the paper shortly:

Headline News:

THE 350 IS NOT ENOUGH! WORLD CALLS FOR AMERICA TO TAKE IN 180,000 REFUGEES.

They've already started that nonsense, perfect all we need is more people in America screaming for the death of the infidels and having the limp wristed liberals tell us it's their right to do so.

Last I checked, our constitution had rules about freedom of speech, and that people were prosecuted by thier ACTIONS and not thier WORDS.....

I could be wrong however, if Dubya had another cut and paste party with the content of the constitution.....

I will agree with you on the "send them blankets instead of money" thing.....best to keep it away from the politicians on either end otherwise the needy will be getting less....

But hey, it's all monopoly money to them.

Marco,

SO you're OK with someone like OBL operating in America, callling for jihad and as long as he doesn't blow anything he's doing fine. Come on we have to draw the line somewhere. Atleast we should kick their dirty rotten ungreatful azz's out of the country, correct. There's no protection to run military outpost on American soil.

The amazing thing is how many people are willing to spend many thousands of dollars in "donations" and other expenses on this just to get near a President, but then whine like a dog when they are faced with the prospect of losing their tax cuts.

I agree Game, the whole thing is a joke. Thankfully much of the expense is footed by donations and not our tax dollars, but there is still the high costs of running the parade and all the security that go with it.

"The line" would be one's individual actions as they affect other person's rights and property. One person's rights end where another person's rights and property begin.

Guys like Timothy McVeigh and the Unabomber stepped over that line when other people got hurt and killed and other people's property got damaged. Before they went actively public with thier pursuits they were as harmless as most everyone else on this planet.

Had these guys had like 1000 acres in the desert to go and set off thier fireworks.....causing no injury to anyone else's person or property....I wouldn't have given a $hit, and as long as no other person or other person's property was effected, and no insurance fraud was being committed, why should anyone else have cared?

People should be held accountable for thier individual actions, and not what they say or think about......too much "blame the gun" mentality.....everytime something goes wrong people look for someone else to blame.....that woman who spilled hot coffee in her lap and won a judgement against the fast food chain wouldn't have gotten a red cent if I would have been on that jury......

Manufacturers should be held accountable for negligence in faulty made products and not for the stupidity of the user who may or may not be using the product as it was intended for use.

They have ZERO right to operate military outpost in America, ZERO and should be rounded up and deported back to their hell holes. preaching death to the infidels is enough for me, I don't need to see NYC on fire again before we close down the islamic outpost. Why wait till NYC is burning?
