If Numbumb77s assertion that Bush is an idiot is true, then what does that say for the leadership of the opposition? If they had any brains and created an appealing alternative to Bush, a Democrat would have been in office both times - instead we got Bush vs Gore and Bush vs Kerry - and there's NO choice there - it'll always be a vote for Bush and listening to the left whining about how they were cheated!
Right now, Bush is on my shit list over his ass kissing love for illegal aliens - so I won't argue about his stupidity - but I'm even angrier at the left for presenting me with such an unpalatable alternative that Bush is the only answer.

And we were all here for the last election ... you didn't vote for Bush only because you hated Kerry. You voted for Bush because you LIKED him, and thought he made a great president. That the illegal alien stuff has you now pissed off at him was not a consideration of yours at the time. It was all about Iraq, national security, Supreme Court appointments, and gay marriage amendments. We remember.

Even back then I had issues with Bush - If I remember correctly, I even stated that I'd vote for Lieberman if he made it that far.
I know a number of people who voted for Bush because the extremists and their candidates were in charge of the Democrats.
Know this; I don't blindly follow the Party Line - especially in Massachusetts where the state caucus Republicans tend to be more liberal than their Democrat counterparts - they're more like libertarians than real Republicans.
I was born and brought up a Democrat - and as my idol once said "I didn't leave the Democrat Partry, the Democrat Party left me!"
Nationally, the Republicans tend to more closely reflect my centrist conservative views.

The democrats constant harping and proping up the enemy in regards to bitching about the war is based soley on sentiment.They have no plan or policy to fight the war on terrorism ar any alternatives..Everytime the whiners bring it up for a vote to pullout, it loses soundly.They don't even believe what they are proposing.
