does anyone think bush could have greatly improved his image by using the donated money for the inaugural ceremony and given it to a cause. for all your right wing types who are complaning that the tsunami money should have gone to military families of those killed in action what if bush had used the inaugural donation funds and set up educational scholarships for children of the military? maybe do a small inaugural ceremony in the rose garden?

Yeah, that would get all the Dems to drop their hatred and obstructionsim!!!! I can see all the "WE LOVE GEORGE W BUSH" threads now from the left.
In reality, there is NOTHING the man could do to make you guys happy, that's a fact. If he saved your kids from a burning house, you guys would claim he set it on fire himself to look like a hero. You guys will NEVER like Bush.
A lot of you guys want the troops to come home, if Bush brought them home the day after the Iraqi elections, you wouldn't say "thanks", it'd be more like, bout time, we're embarrased to lose the war, Bush is a coward for bailing out, Bush isn't serious about terrorism, or some other conspiracy theory.
You guys don't like him, and never will like him.

He was just another President....until he invaded Iraq.

Iraq made him the man he is today.

LOL,

Fill in the blank: "Bush could have been a hero if:"

I'll play first -

He hadn't dodged the draft by using family connections to apply for "champagne squadron" of National Guard and volunteering to fly obsolete aircraft thereby guaranteeing he would not have to serve in Viet Nam and then subsequently skipped drill for a year.

But in fairness to Dubya, what could you expect from the boy cheerleader born with a silver spoon?

How much truer can you speak, eek???

Other than the war in Iraq, his tax fraud on the Rangers tradings, his insider trading which was protected by Sr's calling off the SEC dogs, his mismanaging the treasury, his continuous lies and dirty dealings, most of which have yet to be exposed.....other than those, he's actually a pretty good guy.

(Now you can give me the speel about being a Republican hater, even though I severely detest anyone from either political party with a track record like Dubya's...)
