He can call in Jimmy Carter as a consultant.

All we need now is some American hostages.

I'm actually speachless.

Boyz, guess I'll have to only drive halfway to work now. Couple that with my cutback on gasoline parties and I'm just speechless as to what to do next! Guess you supply siders are awful proud of the beaming wisdom provided by our 'great' leader!!

Guess the fact that my fuel bill has gone up about 100% in a couple years, and my heating bill will nearly double, nope that ain't enough for me to conserve and cut back. I need Dub's proclamation to really get me goin'. Goddam you are a pillar of widsom Dub!!!

Boys check to see how many of those dozens of monster black suburbans are hydrogen cell or hybrids or even using ethanol? Also check on whether the White House is using all florescent bulbs......like I have been for several years.........

This pizzes me off........ He is asking us to conserve??????? Why not get his Saudi buddies to cut us some slack. I think we deserve it for a ton of reasons. Has he asked the the oil companies to cut profits down to around a billion or so? Of course not....... this will never happen. People buy this crap......

If you read the whole article you can see that what is actually being done is making it easier for oil companies to build more refineries, so we can actually refine and consume MORE oil in the future. Not to mention a "temporary" waiver on EPA fuel mixing and emission rules...looks like the Republicans are planning to exploit these tragedies to achieve their corporate backers' goals of anti-environmentalism...:drink:
