I think the fact you have as many as 3 choices in this poll, with teams that could have a....remote possibility of going after a a record like that, kinda makes it impossible.

These teams all have to play each other at least 2 times for starters...

considering Celtics are 19-2 and none of these 3 teams has less than 3 losses and 15 or more wins mathematically they all have a shot at it... don't think they will get it but wouldn't be surprised if they were close to it

Lakers seem to have trouble finishing games. jump out to an early lead and then relax or just blow it i dunno... they do lack toughness still and cant seem to to play the whole 48min.... seem them finishing around 15-20 losses

Cavs really look good this year. Lebron looks to be getting better and better every season.its going to be between the Cavs and Celtics for the east this year

The teams stated started off hot, but they are really nothing to compare with the Bulls '95-95, IMO. What was their record ATS in that season?

i think it was hollinger from espn.com that did a piece on this topic that was pretty good recently. basically, he argued that its conceivable simply because boston and cleveland could be pushing one another late into the season for home court. there might not be any complacency in either team. that said, i cant see boston or cleveland keeping up this pace. both are great teams, but the nba is an absolute grind and 72 wins in 82 games is just stupid. i dont think we'll see that again anytime soon (if ever). something like 67-15 is possible though.
