Looking at all the vital stats, looks like the wrong team is favored here.
Ohio owns virtually every category.
One thing that concerns me however is Ohio turns the ball over too much, but outside of that, Ohio looks like the play here.

Thoughts?

I think Buffalo had two punts blocked last week against Bowling Green. However I do remember reading a post by a young Buffalo College Student who commented on one of Buffalo's Wide Receivers. He supposedly is a talented young man who can really beat a team with the deep pass. Probably need to do a liitle reading up on the two teams but thanks for indicating stats go in Ohio's favor.

This will be a wager just for fun for me. Meaning a smaller than normal wager amount. Ohio does look like the play but this line makes me look a little more deeper into a Buffalo side.

The Cats special teams are GOOD!! Great at blockin punts.

Ohio has forced 27 turnovers in its first nine games this season, the best mark in the nation. Buffalo has surrendered 18 turnovers this season, a mark that is 90th nationally.

This is the Bulls last home game.

Good road team too, I like em tonight, points are a bonus, GL :toast:

buf qb and wr suspended for the 1st qtr. rb may also be out.

Stats favor Ohio but situation may favor Buff.

May be a pschological boost for Buff in a wierd way. I'm sure they will be thinking as soon as 1st q over if we're in it, we're gonna really turn it on with QB1 coming back. On the other side, if they are down there won't be a defeated attitude b/c they have Maynard coming in.

Buff also needs to win final 3 games to become bowl eligible while Ohio is already eligible.

This is also Buff's final home game.

I took Ohio in a couple of 1st Half Wagers this college football season. They both lost. I think it was against Kent and Akron. I guess my point is, or rather my observation is Ohio just doesn't seem to get clicking until later on in the game or at least in my two experiences with them that was the case. They could play like champs tonight for all I know and score 28 by HT.

With Maynard n Jackson out 1st Q Im sure the Cats will be leading at the half which means.....

HALFTIME LEADS
The Bobcats are 24-6 when taking a lead into intermission since the beginning of the 2005 season.

It's true that Buff needs the final 3 to become bowl eligible, but Ohio is still very much in contention for the MAC East. I doubt motivation will be lacking for either team.

I don't know where you got this information, but I believe it is completely wrong. OU leads the nations in turnovers forced and is 7th in turnover margin.

Ball is near the bottom around 95th in takeaways.

Same exact deal as last week where everyone thought Bowling Green should be favored. Now you have an Ohio team who IMO is better then BG. BG did need 2 4th Q scores along with a couple blocked punts to beat them.

The thing that scares me about Ohio, is they haven't had to face any of the good MAC teams yet. Other then BG which was a solid win, there other 3 wins are against the bottom teams.
