Damn, what a turn around this team has made in the last 6 weeks.I believe W.Mcgahee has helped to turn them into a real superbowl contender. They are strong @ all pts of the game(veteran QB/WR,great RB,one of the best D's,good kicker) Their main problem is the path to the superbowl, they will face some damn strong competition in every round of the playoffs.

The AFC will win the superbowl in 2005,does anyone think the Bills are good enough to pull the upsets? :think2:

ATM,
They need A LOT of help to get to the playoffs.

In all reality Buff needs to win out and have 3 of the 4 happen

1. Jax drop one (best chance is this week in GB)
2. Balt drop two (on the road in Indy and Pit, could happen)
3. Jets drop two (on the road in Seat, SL and home against NE -- could happen)
4. Den drop two (@KC, @Ten .. weak opponents, but the Broncos are stubling of late)

One and two could happen. I believe Buf takes a tie breaker vs NYJ, and I do not know what happens if Den and Buf tie -- I think Conference record would give it to Den.

Bledsoe is average, and our kicker is another Norwide -- he sucks outside 40 and blows on kickoffs.

Ok, now let's assume they make it -- no way do the Bills beat NE. NE is in our heads and would take it to us IMo.

dont be so sure. .look at how close cincy came. .the lee evans hook up can expose that secondary just like cincy did. buf is every bit the cold weather team that NE is.

The Pats seem to have their number, but I hope the Bills play at Pittsburg in the Divisional final. The Bills Defense will dominate Big Ben and the Steeler running game. IF it happens Buffalo will be a great dog play.

Rob,
Belichek exploits our horse sh*t o-line and Bledsoe panics.
I don't think Lee Evans will have time to go deep with the blitz packages NE brings against the Bills.

if your handicapping based on Pats secondary in Cincy game. BE careful!!
will be a much better defense in the playoffs. Pats are fortunate enough to be able to give their injured players plenty of extra time to recuperate. no Troy Brown on defense in January

I hope we have this problem.

FWIW - I feel the Bills could go on the road and beat SD, Pit, NYJ, Den.

We haven't faced a team like Indy -- STL was the closest, but they suck.
I do not think we can beat NE or Balt on the road.

AFC
Seed Team Record
1 Pittsburgh (North Champions) 13-1
2 New England (East Champions) 12-1
3 San Diego (West Champions) 10-3
4 Indianapolis (South Champions) 10-3
5 N.Y. Jets (Wild Card) 9-4
6 Baltimore (Wild Card) 8-5
Denver 8-5
Jacksonville 7-6
Buffalo 7-6
Cincinnati 6-7
Houston 5-8
Kansas City 5-8

I believe the Bills will win @ Cincy tomorrow and Denver will beat KC. The Colts and Packers will beat the Ravens and jags which will have the Bills that much closer

All four of those teams ahead of Buf could lose tomorrow. Buf & Jax have the "easiest" schedules of the WC contenders.

they have to get by cincy too. eveyone acts as if cincy is a push over. they have came a long way. their offense is starting to click. i think they can't beat buff without Palmer.

I like Buffalo by a TD in this one. We struggle more against solid defensive teams than solid offensive teams. For reference see NE, JAX, NE (again), NYJ and Balt games. Oakland was a fluke.

Bledsoe's still their qb. By the way, I'm a longtime Pats fan and am actually wearing a Pats Bledsoe jersey right now. That being said, he will kill them in the playoffs. Throws off back foot... terrible sacks... dopey decisions. Just not good in crunch time. Kind of the Anti-Brady.

Already mentioned it in another thread - I like the Bills very much and and am making my largest bet of the NFL season on Buffalo -2.5 (from -105 thru -110).

Watch Bledsoe lay an egg at Cinci. When you start hearing people talking about Bills going to the SB, its time to go against the Bills!
