I can't even begin to tell you how freakin excited I am for this game. Last year the game came down to a 4th and 1 stop of Braxton Miller on an option play they hadn't run all year. Urban needs to win a big game at Ohio State. I certainly can't bet it because I think the game is a coin flip. Who makes the special teams plays, who turns the ball over. I do think the Spartans are a little better. I think we have better athletes but are just so young this year. Calling a fg game either way. What do you guys think?

3 points sounds about right. I lean Mich St. too and for the same reasons. A little more experience at QB will be needed to beat Sparty.

I follow both teams a lot Barrett will have to win by throwing in this game but u don't go to Lansing and just get a w, Spartans handled Nebraska better than the final score same with Oregon before they had a meltdown, I see a high scoring game Spartans get up big in 3rd off turnovers

It sounds to me that you are saying MSU doesnt put 4 quarters of football together. Not reassuring to me that the eyeball test supposedly trumps the final score. They didnt cover their two biggest games.

Since you follow, you know MSU has had this problem in a few games. Perhaps they've gotten it fixed the last two games, or perhaps those opponents werent very good. Still remains to be seen, imo

I dont see a lopsided win in this game. Id probably stay the trend MSU 1h, osu game.

tuff spot for the buckeyes imo, still to young in so many places. i think they can keep it close with a chance to win late possibly. much different team than last year. even though qb is a freshman I think he is an improvement over miller. OL young along with most skill. number opened at 2 up to 3.5. if joe p hits sparty hard and it goes to 5 i am on osu probably ml and spread. this has been a series in which the visitor has done well. everyone expecting points it may end up like the last time they played in EL.. low scoring. osu has the athletes to win, problem is experience.. we shall see

What can ya say about ohio state this year they beat who so far only 2 decent teams they played they lost to va tech and got a ot win against pen state I'd def say Spartans have played much tougher opponents , jt Barrett gives up atleast 2 interceptions this game if everyone is so confident in the buckeyes U should be on the moneyline

I'd say that OSU is on its way to predominance in the Big Ten because they are the only program in the conference that consistently attracts 5-star talent. However, in this game, MSU has the distinct advantage with the home field and the more reliable QB. Barrett is serviceable, but nobody can tell me OSU doesn't miss B. Miller. MSU's Conner has turned out to be one of the best QB's that D'Antonio has coached and we all know that MSU is the new Quarterback U. Give me the home team -3. See you next year Bucks.

I beg to differ there Coach. Now come down off your high horse. This game is a rivalry game. Granted Ohio St has looked less than impressive. But always shows up for the big games.

I see you're posting from Dayton, Homer....I mean Numbers. Mich State has the better team here. Next year's OSU team, w/ Braxton back, is going to be legit. You're at Sparty. Unless it's a turnover fest, Sparty wins easily.....

Pretty unintelligent post

if you think Braxton is coming back to tOSU next year (he is gonna transfer out and play a year) or if you think they would play him over Barrett.

Barrett is much better than Braxton

if Buckeyes win they put themselves back in playoff conversation - they wont go down easily.
kind of hoping for an upset to disrupt playoff apple cart,....

no interest in giving urban meyer a field goal ( no quality wins, inferior opponents, simply out athletes teams)

no interest in backing mich state whose most quality result this year has been a dd loss

wont touch this game

braxto going to transfer? What are you smoking? If doesn't go back to ohio state then he'll go pro. He's not going to another school.

Guys, don't listen to most of these posters. I cant see Dantonio destroying Urban's season b2b. Go with the Best Coach in College Football, and the Best Defensive Player.

Best coach ... you mean the guy who lost, at home, to a truly inferior Virginia Tech team? Don't care for the guy but if I had to hire a guy it would be Nick Saban. He rarely loses to an inferior team and never at home.

FlaPimpLeo has Buckeyes as his "Game of the year", so I'm guessing Buckeye's will win by at least a td. I'm being sarcastic btw. I like this Buckeye squad but I totally agree with the homers, they are still young, despite having talented players. I'd like to see them win, but if I had to wager, id prob go with Mich St.

I was at the Big 10 Championship game last year.....it was three different games all in one game. State got up, OSU came back, State won out. Had an awesome time partying with a ton of Buckeye fans that day -- very enjoyable time and game. I am a huge Spartan fan, and I have not bet this game as of now, and typically have a very good feel on Spartan games.....can't say I'm as confident as normal with this one. Regardless, best of luck to everyone with this one!
