I have taken great pleasure in ragging on Ohio State this year, and I know it gets under your skin when I say USC would have crushed Ohio State last year had there been a national tournement, and if not for a cheap pass interference call against Miami......

Pete,

I already had $$$ on OSU before today. However, I had a laptop on my table watching the Rosebowl and as soon as they reported it I made a huge bet at Pinnacle at +7.5. I checked a couple minutes later and they had pulled the line.

I'm sure he will play but talk about a distraction!

I'm actually laying off this game but I have to agree that Ohio State +7 looks like a good play but I doubt anyone will find that line now.

believe it or not, i'm probably going to lay off also. i've gotten blasted this bowl season and it's looking like the big ten isn't what some of us thought. everthing i have touched in bowls has went to crap. usc looked awesome tonight.

KSU looked like they were standing in glue. Now either OSU is the fastest D on the planet or the myth of the mighty? Sooners is just that. At any rate I`ve learned thru many long yrs of gaming that using comparative gm matching is usually a losing prop. If not LSU would APPEAR to be a "Lock", (the dreaded word). For me this gm (Sugar) is frought w/peril. I may just lay off & watch. BTW SC looks VERY good now (here I go using comparisons). SC beat Mich, Mich beat OSU etc. LOL

Ohio State has the best D in the country, plain and simple.

What happened in the Michigan game is Ohio State played 2 tough games against Michigan State and Purdue while Michigan had a bye week and played Northwestern prior to Ohio State. Michigan essentially had 3 weeks to prepare and rest and Ohio State was "tired" and banged up.

With over 3 weeks to prepare for K-State and get their legs back, they showed that they were clearly the best D in the country.

The problem with K-State and Miami last year is that they spent too much time studying tape of the Michigan game (Snyder admitted as much) and Ohio State proved to be much faster on the field than they showed on film.
