BS Calls in the Kentucky game

I just finished watching the game and there were so many blatant calls that went against Wichita St in this game. I did have Wichita St but I could care less about my money lost but they deserved to win this game. 4 straight possessions the officials called weak calls which gave Kentucky Ft's and then missed two easy calls......
1. Early's jump hook-- he got slapped on the wrist....no call
2. Bakers 3- he was hit on the elbow.....no call


They weren't going to cover regardless but Kentucky got the calls because they are Kentucky........the Jordan rule of college........It just pisses me off when the officials cost a team a game. Sorry about the rant but this is what pisses me off about officials..........Heres to hoping these offficials get docked pay or they aren't allowed to call another big game

Yes noticed that too, UK got way too many generous foul calls from the refs. What else is new this tournament.

very true! this is how Duke used to get all the calls until it became so apparent that now I think they call close calls the other way against them.

Kentucky was in the Bonus at the 10 minute mark of the 2nd half or pretty close so not sure what you are talking about........Early was definitely fouled on the play I described and several other times on drives that the officials swallowed their whistles. IF you think the 4 straight calls down the stretch were all legit then we weren't watching the same game. All touch calls and to keep Kentucky close.....this happens all the time in games. You will see it every year but it doesn't make it better or any easier to have the wrong team advance in a tournament. I am done with my rant and I am not a Wichita St fan or a Kentucky fan. I am just a fan of the game

GL to everyone the rest of the way and hopefully this doesn't happen to another team in this tournament. Let the team who deserves to win.....win the game

I actually thought the worst calls were when WSU was on Defense.....there were some ridiculous whistles on the Shockers with very little contact.

I think you need to watch the game over. So many bad calls towards UK.

One of my buddies had screen shots of all the bad calls against UK. This is not be being a homer either. UK shot 1 free throw in the first half. Down low, UK took a beating with a bunch of no calls.

Kentucky shot the hell out of the ball. Great game somebody had to lose. No way Ky is an 8 seed nor should Wichita have been screwed potentially playing Ky and Louisville without any home court to speak of. Meanwhile Duke played in Raleign and Virginia is the 1 seed

Really? Do you not watch CBB on a regular basis? Ky guards were to big for the Shockers. They couldn't physically stop them so they got called for the penalties. So they continues to pound the paint and shockers continued shooting long jumpers. If you ask me, shockers were fortunate to hit those shots at such a high percentage. Sounds like a bunch of butthurt losers who backed shockers that are complaining about the calls. The calls were bad on both sides. Good luck with rest of tourney action.

yeah because every ref makes the right call every single time every single game. This is a STUPID post

The committee screwed Wichita, but they'll never admit it. Having to potentially face Kentucky, Louisville, and Michigan just to reach the Final 4 is a joke. And then they were also on the same side as Arizona.

Team goes 35-0 and is penalized by potentially having to face Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Arizona, and Florida to win the title. Laughable.
