Two divisional rivals, face off to open the 2019 NFL season. My initial observation is, that both these teams will play hard nose football. Aaron Rodgers’s is now healthy, after hurting his knee against the Bears in the opener last season. What was amazing in that game, Rodgers, brought his team back, from a 20 point deficit, to beat Chicago 24 -23, while hobbling on his bad wheel. The story goes, the rest of that season for the Packers, Rodgers wasn’t the same, and Green Bay suffered an off year. To remedy their situation, the Packers dismissed Head Coach McCarthy with his Dr. Sues playbook, hired a new head coach that brought along his playbook with new offensive schemes. In the off season, GB, upgraded their talent on defense that played poorly in 2018. This is a much better Packer team that will go against an excellent Bear’s defense. However, Chicago lost some key players on defense, now have a new defensive coordinator, and they may not be as strong as last season. Rodgers, easily wins the quarterback matchup versus Trubiski. This could be the difference in this game. I like the idea that GB is getting 3 points. I don’t like taking favorites laying the number. GB, and Rodgers has something to prove to the people on national TV. PREDICTION: SU GREEN BAY, ATS GREEN BAY +3, OVER/UNDER 46.0 UNDER.
